Ather Energy has added two new electric scooters to its portfolio this year. The brand started its innings with the high-speed 450 Apex e-scooter followed by its first family-oriented e-scooter, i.e., the Rizta. Ather 450 Apex Gets Expensive In India: How Much It Costs Now?

Ather has made the 450 Apex electric scooter expensive by Rs. 6,000 in India. For reference, Ather 450 Apex electric scooter was being sold at Rs. 1.89 lakh (ex showroom) across authorized dealerships in the Indian market. After the price hike, the Apex 450 electric scooter will now be available at Rs. 1.95 lakh (ex showroom) in the country. It is currently not known if the updated prices temporary or permanent. But seems like the changes will be reflecting for a while.

Ather 450 Apex Electric Scooter Highlights

The Ather 450 Apex is the also a premium option which is tagged as a high-speed model in the 450 series. This electric scooter comes equipped with a PMSM electric motor which has 7 kW power output. The premium e-scooter model has a 3.7 kWh battery model packed with which it can reach up to 157 km range on a full charge.

The 450 Apex has a top speed of up to 100 kmph which is higher than the 450X (another high-end e-scooter model). It sports a 7-inch digital instrument cluster which has smartphone app and navigational support.

BGuass RUV350 Electric Scooter Design And Powertrain

BGuass RUV350 e-scooter poster images shows a big and comfortable profile. It has a subtle and conventional scooter styling with tall wheels. As per the reports, the RUV350 has 16-inch alloy wheels which is also used by the Bgauss D15 e-scooter. In fact, this upcoming e-scooter model seems to built on an identical platform as the D15.

The big tyre profile is said to make the RUV350 capable of handling off-road and tough terrains delivering a smooth ride experience throughout. The flat floorboard is visible in the poster images along with the single seat profile which will also be aiding with a comfortable riding experience overall. It appears the RUV350 will have decent under seat storage space.

BGauss could be detailing the powertrain and essential features offered by the RUV350 e-scooter in the coming weeks. We are expecting it to be loaded with a powerful motor and battery setup considering it is coming as a premium option. That said, the RUV350 is seen sporting telescopic forks up front and dual spring suspension module at the rear. The images also reveals drum brakes both up front and the rear.

BGuass RUV350 Electric Scooter Official Launch Date, Expected Pricing

BGuass new RUV350 electric scooter is set to launch on June 25, 2024 in India. The launch timeline is announced by the home-grown E2W manufacturer itself. The company is yet to share other details related to the RUV350 such as pricing and specifications. However, it is expected to debut as a flagship offering from BGuass. If we make a wild guess, the price range could be between Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh. But take this speculative pricing as a grain of salt.

GT Force Electric Motorcycle Official Teaser Shared: Pre-Bookings Commenced

GT Force after expanding its e-scooter portfolio is now focusing on the e-motorcycle segment too. The latest teaser poster shared by the brand reveals a new electric motorcycle heading to the Indian market. GT Force hasn’t mentioned the name of the electric motorcycle model yet but has tipped its arrival within a month in the Indian market.

Furthermore, the new GT Force electric motorcycle is said to cater to both urban and rural commuters in the country. This is an indication that the next GT Force e-motorcycle will be an affordable option for the Indian consumers. But, it’ll be too soon to comment on its pricing considering the exact specs and features are not out completely yet.

It is worth mentioning that GT Force has also started taking up pre-bookings for the upcoming electric motorcycle in India. Interested consumers can head to the nearby authorized GT Force service centers to register the electric motorcycle.

GT Force Electric Motorcycle Expected Powertrain And Features

The GT Force electric motorcycle’s leaked teaser just gives the glimpse of the front design. The powertrain is not entirely revealed yet but GT Force has specified a riding range between 120- 130 km in a full battery charge. GT Force also claims the upcoming e-motorcycle will be able to reach a top speed of up to 70 kmph which will be ideal for daily city rides.

Just a few weeks ago, TVS Motors expanded its electric scooter fleet. The two wheeler auto manufacturer added the iQube base model to its collection which arrived as the most affordable variant loaded with a smaller 2.2 kWh battery pack. The company also confirmed the commencement of the iQube ST deliveries at the TVS-authorized dealerships across 434 Indian cities. But there’s a special loyalty bonus discount for TVS iQube ST owners where they get Rs. 10,000 discount. Details are below:

TVS iQube ST E-Scooter Loyalty Program Bonus: Amount, Who Can Avail?

TVS Motor has announced a loyalty bonus of Rs. 10,000 for the iQube ST e-scooter model. As mentioned above, the iQube ST’s deliveries commenced last month itself after a delay of several months. But wait, there’s a catch. The offer announced is for a limited segment of consumers.

TVS Motors is giving out the loyalty bonus to only the customers who had done the pre-bookings for the iQube ST e-scooter model before July 2022. To recap, the TVS iQube ST’s deliveries were postponed due to reduced FAME subsidies. The consumers who didn’t cancel their pre-bookings despite the delayed availability will receive Rs. 10,000 discount.

It is worth adding that the TVS iQube ST comes in dual battery pack options. The loyalty bonus is being provided on both models. If we speak of the pricing, the TVS iQube ST with a smaller 3.4 kWh battery pack carries a price label of Rs. 1.56 lakh (ex showroom).

With the loyalty bonus, this model will be available for Rs. 1.46 lakh ( ex showroom). On the other hand, the iQube ST featuring the bigger 5.1 kWh battery pack carries a price tag of Rs. 1.86 lakh (ex showroom) which with the added discount can be grabbed at Rs. 1.76 lakh (ex showroom).

MG Motors is working on another new EV for the Indian market. After filing patent for the Cloud EV, MG has now filed design trademark for a compact electric hatchback. MG Wuling BinguoEV Design Patent Leaks: How Dows It Look?

The MG Wuling BinguoEV design patent reveals the compact and curvy design of the next MG electric car. The design language overall is said to be familiar to that of the the newly launched Fiat 500. The curvy bonnet and a small blanked-off grille beneath it combined with X-shaped LED headlamps completes the front profile design. Another key design highlight of the Wuling BinguoEV is the water-splash wheel caps that are gripping 15-inch wheels.

The MG Wuling BinguoEV will feature dual-tone floating roof design and an X-shaped LED rear tail lamps as well. The compact electric hatcback will measure 3,950 mm x 1,708 mm x 1,580 mm (length x width x height) and will have 2,560 mm of wheelbase. It will offer up to 790 L boot space. It is worth noting that these additional details are available since the Wuling BinguoEV is already launched internationally.

MG Wuling BinguoEV Powertrain And Features

The Wuling Binguo EV has been launched in triple battery options in Indonesia. The same powertrain can be introduced in the Indian market too. The base Wuling BinguoEV has a 17.3 kWh battery, while the mid-variant gets a 31.9 kWh battery pack. The top model features a 37.9 kWh battery pack. The low-end BinguoEV variant can produce 41 bhp of power and up to 333 km range per charge. The high-end model can deliver 68 bhp of motor power and up to 410 km range on a full charge. The EV ships with a standard 7 kW charger in Indonesia and will probably use the same setup in the India too.

Hyundai Creta EV Test Mule Multiple Snapshots Captures

We all are aware that Hyundai is working on the all-electric version of its most popular mid-size SUV, i.e., Creta. The test mule of the Creta EV has been snapped twice this week where one of the production ready prototype was seen doing test runs, while the second test mule was snapped while docked at a charging station in Pune.

Both new test mule leaks of the Creta EV showcased an ICE-variant like design but a slightly re-worked grille and alloy wheel design. The Creta EV gets blanked-off grilled design, drag-resistant alloy wheel design, and a 360-degree camera surveillance.

VinFast VF3 Compact Electric SUV Powertrain Revealed Officially

VinFast is set to launch its smallest electric car called the VF3 in India. The micro e-SUV has been patented in the country and will likely be the first EV in the country from the Vietnamese auto manufacturer. The VinFast VF3 will be equipped with a RWD (Rear wheel drive) motor pack producing 43.5 bhp of peak power and 110Nm of peak torque.

This upcoming electric car from VinFast will feature an 18.64 kWh battery pack with which it will produce up to 210 km range per charge. This compact e-SUV is said to measure 3,190 mm (length) x 1,679 mm (width) x 1,622 mm (height) and will have a wheelbase of 2,075 mm.

Maruti Suzuki eVX Spy Video Surfaces Online

Maruti Suziki eVX’s spy video has been leaked this week while being tested near Maruti plant in Gurugram. The eVX first real life spy video shows the prototype equipped with an LED headlamp setup. Its overall profile appears broader which hints at a roomier cabin. The spy video of the eVX also revealed ORVM with integrated cameras and rear C-pillar mounted door handles.

Multiple Mahindra Electric SUVs Snapped Side-By-Side

Mahindra’s electric fleet got snapped once again this week. However, all three upcoming e-SUVs including the XUV.e9, XUV.e8, and the BE.05 test mules were captured together during charging at a mall in Udaipur, Rajasthan. With all the upcoming e-SUVs getting testing simultaneously, we can safely assume that the launch will be as per the timeframe hinted by Mahindra and other industrial sources. The leaked snapshots majorly revealed the design cues which are similar to the past test mules spotted out in the wild.

Low Budget Zelio GRACY E-Scooters Launched

Once again, the budget E2W market witnessed a new e-scooter lineup launch. Zelio introduced 2024 GRACY e-scooter series with three different models. Each variant gets separate trim which is based on the battery options. The latest lineup comprises the GRACYi, GRACY+, and GRACY Pro models. The GRACYi and the GRACY+ models have five different trims with Lead Acid and Li-ion battery module. Whereas, the GRACY Pro model only has dual trims including one Lead Acid and one Li-Ion. Price range of the Zelio GRACY 2024 e-scooter range starts at Rs. 59,263 going up to Rs. 80,073.

Hyundai Creta EV is the next big launch everyone’s waiting for. Hyundai is expected to drop its first mid-size e-SUV soon in the Indian market. The constant test runs for the Creta EV indicates the imminent launch. Within a week the test mule of Creta EV has been spotted twice at different location. After the last Creta EV’s test run images, a new set of leak has emerged showing the Creta EV docked at a charging station.

Hyundai Creta EV Test Mule Snapped Getting Charged

Hyundai Creta EV was recently snapped getting charged at a station in Pune, Maharashtra. This is the second sighting of the upcoming mid-size Hyundai e-SUV’s test mule. It previously was spotted doing test runs on the streets. Fresh visuals of the Creta EV has clarified multiple new details. The images show a camera mounting underneath the ORVMs for blind spot mirroring.

Additionally, the integrated ORVM camera modules is a confirmation for a 360-degree surveillance camera safety system. Overall design silhoutte of the Creta EV is identical to that of the ICE model. The same has been confirmed by the previous spy shots too. Furthermore, this test mule leak is also seen with the same blanked-off front grille design.

The spy shots also indicate a drag-reducing allow wheel design. This would be one of the EV-specific design elements which will be evident on the Creta EV. The e-SUV is also expected to be equipped with drag-resistant tyres which will help with extended mileage and economic rides overall.

Hyundai Creta EV: Other Key Details

The Creta EV will possibly include the same cabin features as the ICE model. It might feature the same infotainment screen with Android Auto and Car Play support. The mid-size e-SUV is also expected to offer a panoramic sunroof, dual zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and more. The steering wheel will be two spoke which is being borrowed from the ICE model. A 45 kWh battery is expected to be the powerhouse for the Creta EV which will allow up to 300 km range delivery.
