The company has announced the clearance of ARAI homologation certification of the Atto 3. The electric SUV available starting at Rs. 34.94 lakh will now be able to reach a larger consumer base with the lifted import restrictions. In the latest developments, BYD India has revealed the ATTO 3 has logged its ARAI homologation certification. As stated above, the certification will now lift the restrictions on the import unit on the ATTO 3. For reference, previous cap for total BYD ATTO 3 unit import in the country was limited to 2500 units.

However, with the electric SUV bagging homologation, the brand will now be able to import more units and meet the increasing demands. You can expect a lesser waiting period on the registered ATTO 3 units across dealerships going forward.
