BYD, the Chinese automaker has strengthened its India presence with a new exciting product. The company has launched the Sealion 7 which is an all electric coupe-style electric SUV for the premium consumers. BYD Sealion 7 Variants
BYD Sealion 7 is launched in two trims. Base trim is called Sealion 7 Premium, while the top model is called Performance. Both variants of the Sealion 7 comes with the same battery setup but uses a different drivetrain.

BYD Sealion 7 Price, Delivery Timeline
BYD Sealion 7’s Premium model is priced at Rs. 48.90 lakh (ex showroom). The Sealion 7 Performance trim will cost Rs. 54.90 lakh (ex showroom) in the country. BYD will be commencing the Sealion 7’s deliveries from March in India.

BYD Sealion 7 Powertrain
The BYD Sealion 7 electric coupe SUV’s Premium trim is a RWD variant which produces 300 hp peak power. This model accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 6.7 seconds. On the other hand, the Sealion 7 Performance trim offers an AWD drivetrain producing 522 hp peak power and sprints from 0-100 kmph in 4.5 seconds. Both Sealion 7 Premium and Performance model equips an 82.56 kWh battery pack. However, the range varies with the former offering 542 k per charge and the latter delivering 542 km per charge range.

BYD Sealion 7 Safety Features
BYD Sealion 7 has a wide range of safety features. It comes equipped with a 360° surround cameras, rear parking sensors, and advanced ADAS safety features. Both Sealion 7 e-SUVs models feature 11 airbags as a safety standard.

BYD Sealion 7 Other Key Features
BYD Sealion 7 electric coupe SUV gets extensive features such as 15.6-inch infotainment system, wireless charger, panoramic glass roof, all-LED headlamp, DRLs, and taillamp setup, DYNAudio with 12 speakers, and more.
