The Volvo EM90 is a modern electric minivan that is based on Zeeker 009’s platform. The latter is also an electric minivan which Volvo has already introduced in the market. The new electric minivan from Volvo flaunts a trendy yet neat design overall.

Since it borrows the same design framework from the Zeeker 009 electric minivan, the familiarity is visible with the door handles and side mirror design. The flashy front grille which seems all metallic adds to the overall stance of the latest Volvo electric minivan.

The interiors of the Volvo EM90 electric minivan is still not disclosed by the brand. But we are expecting the official teasers to reveal more details in the coming days. With the interior design is under the wraps, it becomes difficult to guess what all features will be added. The size of the digital instrument cluster is also not known at this point but we are expected a connected car system-enabled platform.

Moving on to the powertrain details, the Volvo EM90 is said to be powered by a rear-mounted electric motor. This is different than the dual-motor system which is used by the Zeeker 009 minivan. Also, the power delivery by the EM90 is lower than the Zeeker 009. The former will deliver 268 hp (199 kW) peak power instead of 536 hp (399 kW) peak power.

Other details such as the peak torque, battery capacity, charging time, and top speed of the Volvo EM90 are expected to be teased gradually going forward.

The latest BMW iX2 electric coupe comes equipped with a dual-motor system for power delivery. The electric motor collectively churns out a powerful 313hp peak power and 364 LB FT peak torque digits. The new BMW compact Sports Activity Coupe offers an all wheel drive system which makes it capable for city, highway, and also occasional off road drives.

BMW has further packed the new iX2 compact electric crossover with a 64.8kWh battery pack. As per the brand, the iX2 can deliver up to 279 miles or 438 km range with each charge cycle. The battery pack can take charge via different modes that adds to the convenience.

Talking of the charging speeds, the iX2 electric coupe’s battery pack will get a full charge with the standard AC charger within 6.5 hours. There will also be a 22kW three-phase AC charger option using which the electric coupe will take around 4 hours for a full battery charge.

The BMW iX2’s battery will also be compatible with DC fast charging with which it will take around half an hour for a battery refill from 10 to 80 percent. Speaking of the acceleration speeds, the BMW iX2 takes around 5.6-seconds to reach from 0- 96kmph. The top speed attained by the iX2 luxury electric coupe will be around 176 kmph.

The Okaya Motofaast electric scooter is said to arrive as a city commute vehicle featuring a classic two-wheeler scooter design. Okaya has not revealed the entire powertrain of the upcoming electric scooter. However, the brand has created a dedicated product page for the Motofaast electric scooter where we not only get a good look at the design but also the key features.

While the motor capacity packed inside the Motofaast electric scooter is unknown, the product page listing has hinted the battery type. Okaya will be loading an LFP battery pack inside the Motofaast electric scooter which will deliver a riding range of 120 km with a single charge. This long riding range will make this electric scooter suitable for city commutes as well occasional highway rides.

The latest mXmoto mx9 electric motorcycle draws its power from the integrated 4,000 watt BLDC hub motor. This electric motor packed inside the mXmoto mX9 electric bike is said to produce a peak torque of 140 Nm. Furthermore, the motor is rated to churn out 580 rpm and offers a conversion efficiency of 98 percent.

Under the hood, the new mXmoto mX9 electric scooter has been equipped with a 3.2 kWh battery pack. It is a LIPO battery module which as per the brand can deliver a riding range between 110km to 140 km per charge. The EV startup further claims that the mX9 electric motorcycle consumes around 1.5 units electricity with each battery charge cycle.

The battery pack takes around three hours to recharge from 0-90 percent. Additionally, the latest mXmoto electric bike features a break regeneration system with which the battery pack self recharges when the rider releases throttle. The top speed offered by the mX9 electric motorcycle is 80 kmph which is decent speed offered by most cost-friendly electric motorcycles.

Braking on the mXmoto mX9 electric motorcycle is handled by disc brakes both at the rear and upfront. Whereas, the suspension upfront is handled by up-side down forks and at the rear it uses monoshock suspension module. The new electric motorcycle from mXmoto offers cruise control feature and also different riding features including hill, park, and reverse assist.

Tata Punch EV Interiors Leaked Via Spy Shots

Autocar India has shared a bunch spy shots of the Punch EV which reveals the interior design language. The report suggests that the latest sighting of the Tata Punch EV comes from Mumbai-Pune expressway where its was being tested with around 100 kmph speed. The leaked set of spy shots showcases the interior design of the upcoming Punch EV which seems to be heavily inspired by its older sibling, i.e., the Nexon EV Facelift which debuted recently in the Indian market.

Similar to the Nexon EV Facelift, the upcoming Tata Punch EV will also sport a new illuminated steering wheel which the brand first showcased with Curvv concept car. Seems like Tata will use this steering module with its upcoming range of small and mid-size electric cars.

The leaked spy images of the Punch EV electric car also reveals a larger infotainment screen compared to the ICE version. The new Tata electric car could be equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment display. For reference, the Tata Punch ICE model is packed with a relatively smaller 7-inch display.

Furthermore, online reports suggest that Tata will offer the larger 10.25-inch infotainment system only with the top-end variant of the Punch EV. The remaining lower end variants could feature a smaller infotainment screen. Tata is additionally said to make several design tweaks with the Punch EV model. New LED headlamps and alloy wheels could be a part of the design revamp compared to the ICE model.

Starting with the Kawasaki Ninja e-1 electric motorcycle variant, it is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) which has a maximum output of 9kW. The electric motor inside the Ninja e-1 electric motorcycle is capable of producing 6kW continuous output. The peak torque generated by the e-1 electric motorcycles’s PMSM motor is 29Nm.

Speaking of the Ninja Z e-1 electric motorcycle model, it is launched with the same PMSM electric motorcycle which delivers a maximum output of 9kW and a continuous power of 6kW. The torque generated is is also identical, i.e., 29Nm.

Both new Kawasaki e-1 and Z e-1 electric motorcycles will use dual Li-ion battery pack which are swappable. The range offered by both variants is 44 miles (approx 70 km) per charge. The charging time claimed is 3.7 hours and 1.6 hours for full charge and 0 to 80 percent respectively.

As for the top speed, both Kawasaki e-1 and the Z e-1 variants can reach up to 62 mph (100kmph approx) with full throttle. However, the top speed will drop to 54mph (approx) post 15 seconds. The top speed of the 64mph is attained with the E-boost feature which the brand has added so that it becomes easier to swift through congested urban traffic.

The Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 electric motrocycle models feature a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster. It will offer important ride details and will include various layouts that once can select as per preference. One of the unique riding modes offered by the latest Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 is the walk mode which will make parking easy with forward and backward moving speed of 3mph and 2mph respectively. Both electric motorcycles will also offer Road and eco driving modes.

The Acer MUVI 125 4G is a two-wheeler electric bike which as per the brand is designed to cater to all the urban commuting requirements. This electric bike features a lightweight design and is elegant and eco-friendly at the same time. As mentioned above, Acer has teamed up with eBikeGo to foray into the electric vehicle segment in India. For refrence, eBikeGo is an Indian electric mobility brand which is helping Acer to achieve its vision for a greener future.

During the unveiling, two variants of the Tata Nexon EV were revealed including MR (Mid Range) and LR (Long Range). However, all variants have been confirmed now and as many as six different models are revealed. The Tata Nexon EC Facelift variants includes Creative+, Fearless, Fearless+, Fearless+ s, empowered, empowered+. All these models will include both MR and LR (Mid-Range and Long Range Variants).

Now moving on to the prices, the Tata Nexon EV Facelift model Creative+ MR model is launched at Rs. 14.75 lakh in India. The Nexon EV Fearless models MR model is priced at Rs. 16.19 lakh and the LR model costs Rs. 18.19 lakhs. The Fearless+ MR model and LR model will cost Rs. 16.69 lakh and Rs. 18.69 lakh respectively.

The Fearless+ S variant is priced at Rs. 17.19 lakh and Rs. 19.19 lakh for the MR and LR model respectively. The empowered variant is available in the sole MR version which is priced at Rs. 17.84 lakh and the empowered+ model is launched in the single LR model which costs Rs. 19.94 lakh in India.
