Tata has been rapidly increasing its presence across the EV industry in India and has now updated its portfolio with one of the most anticipated electric cars. The Tata Nexon EV Facelift has finally been unveiled in the Indian market featuring a reworked design and new improved features. Read all details below:

Tata Nexon EV Facelift Design: What’s New?

The Tata Nexon EV Facelift comes with similar design language as the recently launched Tata Nexon ICE version. The fascia is revamped and the design is losely based on the Tata Curvv concept electric car. The Nexon EV’s facelift variant gets new connected LED taillight and DRLs and also R16 alloy wheels. The interiors of the Nexon EV Facelift is also re-designed to give a more premium feel. Tata has added rain sensing wipers, an electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking camera sensor.

It includes a new 12.3-inch digital infotainment system with digital voice assistant and Arcade.ev compatibility. The latter is Tata’s in-house app suite that offers compatibility with around 15 different popular mobile apps. The updated interiors also include ventilated seats and rear AC vents.

Tata Nexon EV Facelift Powertrain

Tata has launched two different variants of the Nexon EV Facelift electric car. There is a Medium Range (MR) and a Long Range (LR) variant. Both Tata Nexon EV Facelift MR and LR model are equipped with a Gen 2 electric motor. The base model, i.e., the Nexon EV MR variant is capable of producing 95kW peak power and 215NM of peak torque. It can deliver a range if up to 325km per charge (ARAI certified) and can accelerate from 0-100 in 9.2 seconds.

The Tata Nexon EV Facelift LR (Long Range) model has a bigger 40.5kWh battery pack and a better 106.4kW peak power. The range is also higher with this model, i.e., 465km per charge. This model can reach 0-100 kmph within 8.9 seconds. The Nexon EV facelift LR model takes around 4.3 hours to charge from 10-100 percent, while the LR model takes around 6 hours for the same.

The Revolt RV400 Limited Edition motorcycle is called the Stealth Black Edition. The brand has introduced the latest electric motorcycle during its sixth anniversary. The Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle features a new skin but has same design elements and powertrain as the existing model. But what makes it special is the all black paint scheme. Notably, Revolt is likely to sell only limited units of this new electric motorcycle in India.

The Revolt RV400 Stealth Black limited edition model is introduced at Rs. 1.18 lakh in the Indian market. The prices are ex showroom. Revolt RV400 Stealth Black Limited Edition Motorcycle: Powertrain

Just the the existing model, the Revolt RV400 Stealth Black electric motorcycle features a digital instrument cluster identical to the existing model. This new electric scooter will be powered by the same 3kWh battery pack which will be a swappable module.

This special Edition Revolt RV400 Stealth Black electric motorcycle will deliver a riding range of up to 125 km. The electric motor packed inside the Revolt RV400 Stealth Black will generate a peak power of 5kW. It can throttle to a maximum speed of 85 kmph. The new variant will also feature three riding modes called Eco, Sport, and Power.

The company has used aerospace-grade body material to design the new F77 edition. This new electric motorcycle has been made using 7075-grade aluminum that makes it both lightweight and durable for high-speed rides. Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition Electric Motorcycle New Features, Powertrain

The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition electric motorcycle will be catering to the premium and tech-savvy customers. This electric superbike features a 5-inch TFT digital instrument cluster that displays the critical information such as navigation, battery status, and more. The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition will also come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth pairing option for easy pairing with smartphones for connected ride system.

Moving on to the powertrain, the Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition is packed with a 10.3 kWh battery pack with fast charging support. With this large battery pack, the new Ultraviolette F77 edition can deliver up to 307 km range per charge (IDC).

The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition electric motorcycle with the integrated motor setup can deliver a peak power of 100 Nm. This premium electric scooter can deliver a top speed of up to 152 km/hr. As for the acceleration speeds, the F77 Space Edition can reach from 0-60kmph in 2.9 seconds.

TVS has in the headlines for its upcoming premium Creon-based electric scooter in India. The company has finally introduced its top-of-the line two wheeler electric scooter in the global markets including India. Called the TVS X, the latest model comes as the most premium two-wheeler electric scooter from TVS Motor Company in the country that features a luxurious design is a fully loaded with flagship features. TVS X Smart Electric Scooter Design, Powertrain And Features

As tipped by the rumors, the TVS X smart electric scooter is designed on the Creon concept EV that was showcased back in 2018. This new electric scooter offers a maxi-style design that is based on the brand’s in-house XELTON platform. The TVS X electric scooter comes with a 770mm seat height for a better ride quality.

Moving on to the powertrain, the TVS X electric scooter is equipped with a PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) electric motor. This powerful electric motor is capable of producing a peak power of 11kW (around 7 kW of peak continuous power). The peak torque that is generated by the TVS X’s electric motor is 40Nm.

The TVS X electric scooter features a powerful 4.4 kWh battery pack. The new premium electric scooter can deliver an IDC range of 140 km per charge. The electric scooter can be charged using a standard 950W portable charger or the Smart X rapid charger. With the portable charger, the electric scooter can be charged from 0 to 80 percent within 4.5 hours, while with the Smart X rapid charger, this electric scooter can be charged from 0 to 50 percent in 50 minutes.

In terms of features, the TVS X electric scooter offers three different riding modes namely Xtealth, Xtride, and Xonic. This premium electric scooter features 220mm front disc and 195mm rear disc for braking combined with ABS breaking system. This makes it one of the first two-wheeler electric scooter to offers an ABS breaking module

Additional set of features offered by the TVS X flagship electric scooter includes a large 10.25-inch TFS digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connected ride system for navigation alerts and music playback support. It is worth mentioning that the TVS X electric scooter’s TFT digital cluster can be adjusted for improved riding experience. It also has a reverse mode, parking assist, hill hold, and cruise control features.

TVS X Smart Electric Scooter Price In India

The TVS X smart electric scooter is launched at Rs. 2.50 lakh in India and will be available for pre-orders starting August 24 midnight. The official sales are said to begin by November in the country.

Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter New Prices After Discount

Just to recap, Bajaj had launched the Chetak electric scooter with a starting price label of Rs. 1.22 lakh. The base model carried this price tag, while the top model was introduced at Rs. 1.52 lakh. With the latest discounts, the top end variant of the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter can now be purchased at Rs. 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom).

It is worth noting that the company has discontinued the base model and will now only be selling the high-end model of Chetak with the discounted prices. This information has been confirmed by the official website listing where only the premium model is listed with the axed price. Interested buyers will be able to select from three different colors including black, beige, and blue.

Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter Powertrain And Features

The top-end variant of the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is packed with a 2.88 kWh li-ion battery module. With this battery pack, the scooter can deliver a range of up to 108 km per charge with a single charge. However, the real life riding range is around 90 km per charge. The battery pack can take a full charge of 100 percent within four hours.

A 3.8 kW electric motor dives the Chetak electric scooter that can deliver a peak torque of 16nm. The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter can reach a top speed of up to 63 kmph and has several user-friendly features. This electric scooter comes with a large LCD digital instrument cluster that shows the important ride stats.

Lamborghini has also officially unveiled its first fully electric car. The brand took to the 2023 Monetary Car Week to showcase its entirely electric super car which is called the Lanzador. The first fully electric car from Lamborghini has been positioned between the brand’s mid-range super cars and the most premium model Urus. With the Lanzador, Lamborghini is strategically creating a concrete roadmap for its new-generation lineup (all electric). This concept car will be shaping a “concrete vision” for the same.

Furthermore, Lamborghini Lanzador is said to offer the same level of premium ride experience as the brand’s remaining high-end super cars. As the Lanzador has been showcased as a concept, it will take a while for it to hit the production bay entirely. If we go by the anticipated timeline, the Lamborghini Lanzador will be available officially in the market by 2028. Now, that’s a long wait for the Lamborghini fans to get their hands on an fully electric super car from the brand.

What About Lamborghini Lanzador’s Powertrain And Features?

Lamborghini is currently keeping the Lanzador’s powertrain and feature details under the wraps. Not much has been officially revealed, but the company has revealed it took almost two years to unveil this concept car. Nevertheless, going by the information available, we know this super electric car will be a GT (grand tourer) with a four door design and 2+2 seating arrangement.

The Lanzador’s will have a height of 1500 mm and will have improved aerodynamics for the premium ride experience. Each axle of the Lamborghini Lanzador will have a high-power electric motor which confirms it will be an all-wheel-drive super electric car. While Lamborghini hasn’t revealed the exact power that will be produced by the Lanzador, it has tipped over 1 megawatt power which is around 1,340 bhp.

The Lamborghini Lanzador will be equipped with a new-generation battery pack which as per the company will ensure longer riding range with each charge cycle. However, the exact range is yet to be revealed. To further boost the riding experience, the Lamborghini Lanzador will be packed with multiple sensors and also LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) driving control system.
