Netflix has introduced a new game controller application that users can download to connect smart TVs and play games. The Netflix Game Controller app has been currently launched for iOS users only. We can expect the company to expand this app’s availability to Android devices going forward.

As for the iOS users, Netflix has made the Game Controller application available for download on App Store. Interested users can simply search for this application on the App Store on their respective iOS devices to use this application. The has been released in global regions including India. Some reports suggests that the app is in the beta phase and might not be compatible with some of the devices.

Xiaomi CEO Announces Launch Date

Lei Jun, the founder, and CEO of Xiaomi, took to Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform, to share the big news regarding the Mix Fold 3’s launch date. Along with the announcement, a captivating marketing poster was unveiled, bearing the tagline, “defining a new standard for the second half of folding screen.” The much-anticipated launch event, scheduled for 7:00 PM local time (4:30 PM IST), will feature Lei Jun’s customary annual address on the company’s endeavors.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 First Look

On Weibo, Xiaomi treated enthusiasts to a first look at the Mix Fold 3 through renders showcasing both its folded and unfolded states. These renders exhibit the device in elegant black and cream shades, with gently curved corners. Notably, the Mix Fold 3 boasts a larger square-shaped camera module in contrast to its predecessors, which accommodates four sensors, an LED flash, and the iconic Leica emblem.

Display And Performance (Expected)

Insider sources suggest the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will sport an inner display measuring 8.02 inches with full-HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) and an additional 6.5-inch cover panel. Both screens are expected to deliver a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Powering the device could be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, combined with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The Mix Fold 3 is also likely to house a 4,800mAh battery, offering 50W or 67W wired fast charging support.

The Vivo Pad Air has slightly trimmed down hardware compared to the high-end Vivo Pad 2 tablet model. The LCD panel of the Vivo Pad Air tablet further has an aspect ratio of 3:3 and supports a 2.8K screen resolution along with P3 wide color gamut. The screen is apt for video playback and gaming. Under the hood, the Vivo Pad Air has a premium Qualcomm chipset taking care of the performance delivery. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 870 processor which has been used by multiple flagship Android phones till date. The firmware loaded inside the Vivo Pad Air tablet is Android 13 OS layered with a custom UI on top.

To handle all the graphics requirements, this SoC has an Adreno 650 GPU support. At this point, the RAM and storage configuration details are kept under the wraps. But we can assume this tablet could arrive with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space. The camera features are also under the wraps which Vivo could reveal in the coming weeks. As for the battery specs, the Vivo Pad Air is powered by a 8,500 mAh battery pack which is accompanied by 45W quick charging tech.

OLA is gearing up to launch the S1X electric scooter in India. A report via TOI reveals that the OLA S1X electric scooter will be launched on the Independence day in India, i.e., August 15, 2023. This new electric scooter from OLA is said to be an entry-level version that will carry a cheaper price tag. Furthermore, this information is said to be leaked via an internal media event where OLA spoke about its plan to introduce a new electric scooter on 15th August in India.

Unfortunately, OLA didn’t reveal much related to the powertrain and features of the S1X electric scoter. However, the brand is touting it to be an ICE Killer electric scooter. This suggests the brand is hinting at a pricing below Rs. 1 lakh, since, most of the 125 cc petrol scooter can be purchased at around Rs. 1 lakh in the Indian market.

Additionally, the company is also shared a series of images of the upcoming OLA S1X electric scooter model. Going by the images, it seems that OLA has stuck to the basic designing language prominently for cost cutting.

To enhance the translation process for Android and iOS users, Google has implemented an intuitive approach. When an email arrives in a language differing from the user’s preferred display language in their account settings, the new feature will automatically detect this contrast. Subsequently, a notification banner will emerge at the top of the email, extending an option to translate the content. Recipients can readily opt for their desired language from a dropdown menu or dismiss the banner if the translation is unnecessary.

Gmail Translation Feature: How To Use

Step 1: Open the Gmail app on your Android or iOS device. Ensure that you have the latest version of the app installed to access the translation feature.

Step 2: Open an email that is written in a language different from your preferred display language in your account settings.

Step 3: Once the email is detected as being in a different language, a notification banner will appear at the top of the email.

Step 4: Tap on the notification banner to reveal translation options. You will be presented with a choice to translate the email into your preferred language.

Step 7: If you prefer not to translate emails automatically, you can adjust the settings. You have the option to turn off automatic translation for specific languages. You can find this setting either in the menu icon on the translation banner or in the Gmail app settings.

The rollout of this transformative feature will be staggered, gradually reaching all Gmail app users in the upcoming weeks. This enhancement is accessible to both Google Workspace users and individual Google Account holders. Honor will be launching its new-generation foldable smartphone soon. The brand has teased its upcomimg Galaxy Fold 5 rival which is set to make its debut next month globally will be called the Honor Magic V2. The latest Magic V series foldable phone from Honor will be packed with flagship hardware including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile chipset, a 120Hz display, and more. Honor Magic V2 Fold Foldable Smartphone Official Launch Teased

The Honor Magic V2 foldable smartphone is set to go official on September 1, 2023. Honor has teased the global launch on the same date. The teaser poster also reveals the time for the Honor’s IFA 2023 event which is scheduled to begin at 10 AM (CST) in Berlin.

The official teaser doesn’t reveal much information on the hardware features of the Magic Fold 2 smartphone. However, Honor has already made this premium foldable smartphone official in the Chinese market and will introduced it in the remaining global regions with the same set of features.

We are currently uncertain of the Honor Magic Fold 2 India launch, but expect some information on the same in the coming weeks. Nevertheless, Honor is making its comeback in the Indian market and could also introduce the flagship foldable phone as well.

The Honor Magic V2 Fold foldable smartphone will possibly launch in the global markets with the same 6.43-inch LTPO outer screen that will support a 120Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits peak brightness. The Magic V2’s unfolded screen will measure 7.92-inches and will be an AMOLED panel that will support 120Hz refresh rate and also will be HDR10+ certified.

In terms of optics, there will be a 50MP main camera with OIS combined with another 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 20MP lens. The selfie lens integrated inside the Magic V2 Fold will be a 16MP lens. The power will be generated by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset clubbed with up to 16GB RAM for multitasking. A 5,000 mAh battery along with 66W fast charging technology will keep the processor ticking on the Honor Magic V2 Fold.
