Priced at Rs. 5,999, the latest entry-level Nokia C12 goes up against the likes of the Poco C50 and the Infinix Smart 7a both of which have also arrived recently in the Indian market. The Nokia C12 has been announced with a 6.3-inch LCD display. The panel on the latest budget Nokia phone supports a standard 720p HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Whereas, Poco has launched the Poco C50 with the same LCD display that supports an HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.

However, the Poco C50 has a larger 6.52-inch screen compared to the Nokia C12. Besides the bigger form factor, you would hardly find any difference between the Nokia C12 and the Poco C50’s display performance. The panel on both phones is suitable for general content viewing and video playback (720p) via OTT platforms.

The Nokia C12 gets its power from the Unisoc 963A1 mobile chipset. This entry-level phone has been announced with up to 2GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also features a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. On the other hand, the Poco C50 draws its power from the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset. Also, Android 12 (Go Edition) is pre-installed on both Poco C50 and the Nokia C12.

The entry-level hardware allows for decent performance with general usage. Web browsing and media playback specifically will be a good experience. The Nokia C12 uses a 3,000 mAh battery unit, while the Poco C50 packs a bigger 5,000 mAh battery unit. With the larger battery capcity, the Poco C50 can deliver a longer backup.
