Through this new scheme, the users will now be able to take a data loan when their daily data limit has been exhausted. The prepaid subscribers of Jio will be able to get up to five data loan packs of 1 GB each, thereby 5 GB in total.
This emergency data loan facility might turn out to be a boon for the prepaid Reliance Jio users as they can still continue using the internet without purchasing an additional data top-up for their sim card. It needs to be mentioned that each 1 GB of high-speed data is valued at Rs 11 & you need to have an active base plan.
How To Avail This Recharge Now, Pay Later Scheme?
To avail the benefits of this Recharge Now, Pay Later scheme, you need to have the My Jio application installed on your smartphone. Now, below are the steps to get the data loan from Reliance Jio:
Open the My Jio application and tap on the menu option present on the top-left corner of the screen.
Select Emergency Data Loan under Mobile services.
