Emergency restart is one of those crucial Windows feature that helps with PC/ laptop reboot when they become unresponsive to all commands. This feature is designed to ensure that the laptop/ PC can be shut down while bypassing the standard shut down procedure. While this is an extreme method to power off any Windows laptop or PC, it comes handy in emergency scenarios when the system fails to recognise any command for closing apps or device shut down.
Windows Emergency Restart Tricks: Check Steps Here
Step 1: When you need to emergency restart your Windows laptop/ PC, simply press and hold Ctrl+ ALT+ Delete keys.
Step 2: Wait for the Windows Task manager pop-up to show up on the screen
Step 3: Now, while pressing and holding down the CTRL key, also tap on the Power key that is located at the bottom right of the task manager window.
Step 4: A new prompt for Emergency Restart will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Tap on OK for emergency restart
