The patent, which was previously published by the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office), shows what appears to be a camera embedded in the Apple Watch’s rotatable crown. The idea would be to put your wrist out and let the watch camera capture the photo rather than reaching into your pocket or bag for a phone. Also, the patent mentions a circuitry that showcases a light emitter for the camera. It will perhaps act as a flash module.

According to the patent, the camera’s lens might be integrated within the aperture or behind the aperture of the dial so that it can focus on the object. This setting implies that a person could take photographs by extending his/her arm and facing the subject with the Digital Crown. It is to be noted that the users can only wear the watch in their right hand with this setting to keep the lens in the Digital Crown facing the opposite direction of their body. However, the catch is that users who choose to wear their watch on their right hand would have the camera facing themselves most of the time.

While this is a more futuristic technique that may not be essential for most people, it will certainly eliminate the need to take out the phone to click images. Not to mention that it will save you time if your eyes are drawn to fleeting landscapes.

Since it is only a patent, the chances of it becoming a reality are small. Tyler S. Bushnell, the original creator of the Apple Watch digital crown, is listed in the patent database as well. So, who knows? The design may become a reality soon.

The first in-house smartwatch by Google, the Pixel Watch, will arrive later this year. It has already been making the rounds on the internet for some time. Now, the Pixel Watch has surfaced on the certification site FCC. The listing suggests that the upcoming smart wearable will come in three different model variants.

According to the FCC listing, the upcoming Google Pixel Watch will be available in three different models. One model, the GQF4C, will have WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity while the other two, the GBZ4S and GWT9R will have LTE connectivity. The GBZ4S, on the other hand, will support three LTE bands, i.e., LTE B5, B7, and B26. The GWT9R comes with support for 10 LTE bands, i.e., LTE B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B17, B25, B26, B66, and B71. Besides, the GW9TR is expected to be released in the United States, while the GBZ4S will be launched in other regions.

Pixel Watch To Be Powered By The Cortex-M33 Co-Processor

As we know, the Exynos 9110 chipset is likely to power the Pixel Watch. However, for better power efficiency, it may have a co-processor most likely the Cortex-M33. Furthermore, the Google smartwatch is said to have 1.5GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Cortex-M33’s power consumption is measured in micro Watts. Realme has expanded its product portfolio beyond smartphones and has become fairly active in other segments such as tablets, laptops, and smart TVs. But recently Realme started its Techlife ecosystem that caters to the audience with a wide range of consumer products. Dizo, a part of Realme Techlife garnered all attention with its affordable smartwatch series dubbed Dizo Watch. Dizo has now launched another budget smartwatch for the budget-conscious masses in the country. Called Dizo Watch S. the latest smartwatch is laced is modern technologies such as Spo2 and compatibility with a wide range of Android and iOS smartphones.

The Dizo S smartwatch brings a premium design at an affordable price. The new-generation budget smartwatch sports a big rectangular display panel that is 1.57-inches in size. The rectangular dial with curved edges and metallic layering gives it a sturdy feel. The smartwatch display supports a 200 x 320 pixels screen resolution. It offers 500 nits peak brightness levels for good visuals under direct sunlight.

The Dizo Watch S comes with Android and iOS compatibility. It can be easily paired with any smartphone wirelessly using Bluetooth technology. The latest Dizo series smartwatch packs some useful health features such as an SPO2 monitor to read oxygen levels, heart rate, and sleep monitor. It is also capable of keeping a tab on the calorie count, steps, etc.

Another health-oriented feature offered by the Dizo Watch S (specifically for women) is the menstrual tracker feature. The Dizo Watch S is further equipped with over 110 sports modes that can be accessed using the physical key on the right side of the dial. Amongst the additional Dizo Watch Z features includes support for find my phone feature, track GPS routes, music playback control, and more. It also has a smart notification feature that notifies all incoming calls, texts, and other notifications.

The exact battery size packed inside the Dizo Watch S is 200 mAh. This big battery is claimed to deliver a backup of around 10 days on a single charge. The standby backup offered by the Dizo Watch S is said to be around 20 days.

Dizo Watch S Price In India And Sale

The Dizo Watch S is announced in India at Rs. 2,299. However, Dizo will be selling the Watch S smartwatch in India at an asking price of Rs. 1,999. This will be a limited period deal that will be valid till the first stock lasts at the stores. Speaking of Dizo Watch S’ availability, the first sale is scheduled on April 26. The Dizo Watch S will be sold via Flipkart in India in Silver Blue, Golden Black, and Classic Black shades.
