Honor isn’t active in the mobile space in India, but the brand recently added a fresh model to its tablet lineup called the Honor Pad 8. Now, Huawei’s former sub-brand is ready to launch a new tablet in its home country China called the Honor Pad V8. The company has scheduled the launch event for December 26 where the Honor 80 TG premium smartphone is also making its debut. But in this article, we speak of the Honor Pad V8 tablet which might get announced in the Indian market too. Honor is integrating some of the advanced features in the Pad V8 tablet such as an IMAX Enhanced-certified 144Hz display and the top-of-the-line Dimensity 1080 processor. The Honor Pad V8 will be amongst the first lot of mobile tablets that will run on the powerful Dimensity 8100 processor fabricated using a 6nm TSMC process. The octa-core chipset comes as one of the strongest contenders against the Snapdragon 888 processor. The Honor Pad V8’s flagship MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset will feature Mali-G610 GPU support for graphics.
With this MediaTek 5G processor, the Honor Pad 8 will not only be suitable for basic and multitasking but also extensive gaming. It will ship with the MagicOS 7.0 firmware. It’s the display that will see a major upgrade with the Honor Pad V8. As per the leaks, this would be amongst the world’s first tablets that will come with an IMAX-Enhanced-certified display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Honor has reportedly also added a natural eye care protection technology on this tablet. That’s not it, the Honor Pad V8’s screen will measure 12.1 inches and support 2.5K resolution making it apt for both high-res video playback and gaming.
Optics details are at large, but the exact specification could be tipped right ahead of the launch. Nevertheless, the leaked and teased renders of the Honor Pad V8 hint a dual rear camera module. The rumor mill has also revealed a 33W fast charging technology but the exact battery specs remain unspecified.

Will Honor Pad V8 Launch In India?
Honor has not entirely lifted its operations from India and introduced the Pad 8 earlier this year in the country. While Honor has not yet confirmed if the Pad V8 will be debuting in the Indian market, the possibility of it arriving can’t be ruled out entirely.
