Maruti Suzuki is making significant buzz in the EV market for its first e-SUV, the e-Vitara. The final production-spec version of the e-Vitara was unveiled recently at the EICMA 2024 followed by the Bharat Mobility 2025. Maruti started releasing teasers for the e Vitara soon after and is now gearing up for its official India launch. Maruti e Vitara Crash Test: BNCAP Or GNCAP?

Well, it’s none of the above. Apparently, the crash test results of the e Vitara doing rounds online are from an internal testing as indicated by the rumor mill. The e Vitara is yet to visit any external agency for safety crash tests and ratings. But certainly, the leaked images of the e Vitara’s crash tests have gone viral on the web attracting audiences attention.

The leaked images shows the e Vitara being put through a series of crash tests including the front, side, and rear collisions. As the tests are apparently conducting internally, no results have been shared officially. It will be difficult to comment yet if the e Vitara emerges out to be one of the most secure four wheelers from Maruti Suzuki achieving a 5 star safety rating.

Potentially The Most Secure Maruti Car?

The e Vitara is amongst the most fully loaded vehicle coming out from Maruti’s mill. It is going to be equipped with advanced range of safety features which we believe will help it bag better safety ratings compared to other Maruti cars. Advanced security features that the e Vitara is bringing to the table will range from Level 2 ADAS suite offering adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, and rear/side traffic alert, etc. The e Vitara is also expected to feature 360° camera for surveillance, rear parking sensors, seven airbags, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system), and other safety standards.
