Maruti Suzuki is all set for its venture into the electric vehicle (EV) industry with the highly anticipated e-Vitara. The all-electric version of the Vitara Brezza compact SUV showcased recently at the Auto Expo 2025 is set for its grand unveiling next month. Ahead of its launch, the eVitara electric SUV has started reaching dealerships across the country putting a rest to all the rumors hinting its imminent launch.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Reaching Dealerships In India: When Is The Official Launch?

Maruti Suzuki will be marking its entry into the E4W segment in India with the eVitara electric SUV. The debutant EV from Maruti has now started reaching the dealerships across the Indian cities. With the eVitara reaching the dealerships, it can now be confirmed that the e-SUV is finally inching closer to the much pending launch. While the date is yet to be announced, the timeline being tipped is for March 2025 which is just a few weeks away.

Maruti Suzuki eVitara: Everything We Know So Far

Maruti has designed the e-Vitara on an entirely new platform and is said to launch this compact electric SUV in dual trims. The eVitara could be offered with a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh battery pack options with the top-spec model offering up to 500 km range per charge.

The eVitara’s 49 kWh battery variant will be equipped with a front axle mounted electric motor, while the 61 kWh variant will come with an AWD setup. Maximum range produced by the e Vitara will be up to 500 km range per charge. Features included in the eVitara will range from dual screen setup, panoramic sunroof, 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, electronic parking brake, 360° surround view camera, ADAS, and more.
