MG Motor India’s most affordable and compact electric car, the Comet EV is launching in an all new avatar soon in India. The Blackstorm Edition is said to be making its way to the domestic markets making it the third special edition variant of the Comet EV in India. While MG’s ICE SUVs have been launched in this Blackstorm Edition, none of the EVs are available in this theme. Seems like Comet EV will be the first electric model joing the list.

MG Comet EV Black Storm Edition Special Highlights

The MG Comet EV’s Black Storm Edition is expected to break covers sometime soon in India making it the fourth model launched with new exterior shade. The brand previously have launched the Hector, Astor, and the Glosters Black Storm Edition. What makes them special is the Starry Black exterior paint scheme combined with red inserts. The blacked-out design highlighted by the black ORVMs, grille, tailgate and the wheels will stand out then the remaining color variants of the Comet EV.
Not just the exteriors, the Black Storm Edition MG vehicles also get an all-black interiors. We are expecting the black themed cabin to feature leatherette seat covers possibly inscribed with Blackstorm labelling. The red accents will likely be present inside the cabin as well.

MG Comet EV Black Storm Edition Features And Powertrain: Any Updates?

The MG Comet EV Black Storm Edition is expected to be launched with the same powertrain. It’s single motor pack producing 41 bhp power and 110 Nm torque will be linked to a 17.3 kWh battery. The Black Storm Edition of the Comet EV will deliver the same 230 km range and will equip dual front airbags, rear parking camera, and TPMS, etc.
