Kinetic Green, the home-grown two wheeler manufacturer is planning an upgrade for its product portfolio in India. After reviving its legendary Luna moped in an all-electric avatar, the company is now planning to add a premium -scooter model to its catalogue. Currently, the brand only caters to the consumers with its low-speed e-scooter models and finally is bringing an option in the premium segment too. Premium Kinetic Electric Scooter: India Launch Timeline

Kinetic Green is now working on a high-speed electric scooter which is said to debut soon in the country. The suggested model under development is the FLX which will arrive as the fourth e-scooter from Kinetic in India. Just to recap, there are three other existing Kinetic electric scooter models in India including the e-Luna, E-Zulu electric and the Zing family scooter. The upcoming FLX will be the fourth variant which will be catering to premium category.
The timeline scheduled for the Kinetic FLX India launch is within next eight months. The exact date is yet to be announced. In a statement, Pankaj Sharma, President Kinetic Green two-wheeler business, quoted, “We will launch the FLX in six-eight months. It will be a ground-up Indian product and will compete in the premium commuter segment”. As hinted by the company’s executive, the Kinetic FLX could be a potentially come as a rival to the Hero Vida, Ather Rizta, and the Ola S1 e-scooters.

Battery Swapping Platform For E-Luna

Kinetic Green launched the e-Luna moped as an affordable commuter and in a strategic move have teamed up with Zomato, Swiggy, and Dominos for last mile commuting solutions. Seperately, the brand is in talks with Yulu where the latter will provide Yulu swappable battery platform for the e-Luna moped.
