Ola Electric is all geared up to expand its EV operations in India. Despite going through a patchy phase in 2024 with thousands of customer complaints with the repair and after sales services, the E2W startup is now launching the first e-motorcycle, the Roadster X. Last week, official this upcoming electric bike was teased by company’ CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal. And now, its launch date is also revealed.

Ola Roadster X electric motorcycle is all set to go official this week itself in India. Ola will be launching the Roadster X on February 5, 2025. It is going to be an affordable electric motorcycle option which will be competing against a handful of options in this segment including the Revolt RV1. To recap, in one of the recent post shared on X, the production-ready unit was being ridden by the company’s CEO hinting at the imminent launch and deliveries.

Ola Roadster X Powertrain

The Roadster X featuring the smallest battery pack (2.5 kWh) is capable of reaching up to 117 km range, while the mid-range model equipped with a 3.5 kWh battery offers up to 159 km range per charge. The top-spec model loaded with the 4.5 kWh battery can run to a max distance of up to 200 km on a full battery charge. Top speed variant wise (base to top end) is up to 105 kmph, 117 kmph, and 124 kmph respectively.
