OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Also In Works; Might Debut On February 11 In India

OnePlus is all set to launch the next-generation Nord CE smartphone dubbed the Nord CE 2 on February 11 in India. The affordable OnePlus phone has been leaked on several occasions with the features and design being revealed. It seems that the brand is also working on another model in this series. The rumor mill for the first time has hinted at the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite’s existence and given a sneak peek into the features.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Upcoming India Launch, Specifications Leaked

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is said to launch soon in India. This information comes via popular tipster @OnLeaks in association with Smartprix, the Nord CE 2 Lite will be introduced in the country as a trimmed-down variant of the Nord CE 2. The report shared also hints at a few of the specifications that the upcoming affordable OnePlus phone will offer. Notably, the device is rumored to debut alongside the standard Nord CE 2 on February 11.

As per the leak, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be announced in India with the Snapdragon 695 processor. This octa-core mid-range Qualcomm processor comes with 5G network support and has been used by the recently launched Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

The configuration details are not known at the moment and it can’t be said how many variants the brand will introduce. The firmware is also not tipped. But we might see Android 11 OS topped with OxygenOS interface.

The leak hints the Nord CE 2 Lite will flaunt a 6.59-inch display. The panel is said to support 1080p FHD+ screen resolution. What remains to be seen is if the brand sticks to an LCD or uses an upgraded AMOLED panel. The refresh rate is also not known at the moment.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected with a triple rear camera setup. The primary lens at the back is speculated to be a 64MP lens. The remaining camera sensor details are at large. But, the leak suggests the selfie snapper would be a 16MP sensor. The leak also hints at a 5,000 mAh battery that will support 33W fast charging.
