Realme Narzo 50A Prime With 50MP Triple Camera, 18W Fast Charging Officially Announced; When To Expect India Launch?

After launching the Narzo 50A, Realme has now introduced another new model in the Narzo 50 series. The latest model announced by the company is the Narzo 50A Prime which has joined this affordable Realme series as the fourth variant. With features like 50MP triple cameras and a Unisoc chipset, the Narzo 50A Prime has debuted in Indonesia and will soon mark its presence in the remaining global markets as well.

Realme Narzo 50A Prime: What All Features It Packs?

The Realme Narzo 50A Prime is the entry-level variant in the entire Narzo 50 series. Realme has used the Unisoc T612 chipset to drive the Narzo 50A Prime. This octa-core processor has Mali G57 GPU support for graphics and a single 4GB RAM configuration for multitasking. The company has announced this budget handset with dual storage options including 64GB and 128GB.

As is the case with other Narzo 50 series units, the Narzo 50A Prime also has an expandable microSD card support and Android 11 OS firmware. The device has a Realme UI interface pre-loaded. Speaking of the display specifications, the Narzo 50 A Prime flaunts a big 6.6-inch display with 1080 x 2408 pixels FHD+ screen resolution. The LCD panel supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate and has a waterdrop style notch for the selfie camera.

One of the biggest highlights of the Narzo 50A Prime is the Kevlar-textured back panel. A square camera module packed on the upper left has three sensors including a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The primary Samsung JN1 lens is paired up with a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture for macro shots and a VGA B&W lens. The Narzo 50A Prime has an 8MP snapper packed inside the dot notch for selfies and video calling.

The Narzo 50A Prime’s connectivity options include standard 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (dual-band), and Bluetooth. The device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The security aspects are taken care of by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock. As for the battery capacity, the Narzo 50A Prime features a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging which is a standard setup for budget Realme phones.

Realme Narzo 50A Prime Price, India Launch Timeline

The Realme Narzo 50A Prime’s price start at 19,99,000 Rupiah in Indonesia. This is somewhere around Rs. 10,000 in Indian currency for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. The Narzo 50A Prime with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is launched at 21,99,000 Rupiah (around Rs. 11,700). The color options announced are Flash Blue and Flash Black. Its India availability is unannounced, but we will keep you posted with the details.
