Earlier this month, Giznext managed to source the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro exclusive press renders that revealed the entire design language. Now, the handset has cleared its certification hinting at the market where it will likely debut first.
Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro Gets Certified
The Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro has cleared its certification via FCC in the US. The listing on the mobile authentication platform has been initially spotted by Mysmartprice. The screenshot of the FCC website listing shows the handset with the SM-736U and the SM-G736U1 model number. These two could be different variants of the Galaxy Xcover6 Pro. However, the exact differences are had to guess just yet.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro details mentioned on the FCC database include an internal storage space of 128GB. It also reveals 25W fast charging support. No other detail has been shared related to the upcoming Galaxy XCover6 Pro via the certification website. This isn’t the first time the Galaxy XCover6 Pro has been spotted at any mobile authentication platform. Earlier, the rugged Galaxy XCover series phone made its way to Google Play Console and benchmark website Geekbench.
The Galaxy XCover6 Pro’s India launch is also confirmed by the recent Bluetooth SIG website listing However, there is no word from Samsung or via any other authentic source that reveals the exact launch date for the Galaxy XCover6 Pro in India or other markets. The Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro specifications have been leaked on numerous occasions. Our source (@onleaks) also detailed all the major specifications of the upcoming rugged phone from Samsung. The device will pack premium mid-range hardware such as a 6.6-inch TFT display with an FHD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy XCover6 Pro is expected to ship with the octa-core Snapdragon 778G chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The firmware will be Android 12 OS which will have a custom UI on top. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will be using a 50MP dual-lens camera module at the back and an 8MP selfie snapper. Rounding off its spec-sheet will be a 4,050 mAh battery unit with 25W fast charging (as confirmed via FCC).
