Bengaluru-based EV startup Ultraviolette is gradually diversifying its portfolio. The company specialising in high-speed electric motorcycle category has now ventured into the electric scooter as well as off-road enduro e-motorcycle segmenet. First off-roading all-electric motorcycle from Ultraviolette is the Shockwave which is introduced with a price tag of Rs. 1.75 lakh (ex showroom) loaded with a powerful electric motor, dedicated traction control modes, and more.

Ultraviolette Shockwave Off-Road E-Dirt Bike Design Highlights

Ultraviolette has created a new platform for roadster and off-road electric motorcycle. What makes this platform special is its lightweight form factor and its street-legal off-roading capabilities. The lightweight design will allow the riders to manoeuver this bike with ease on difficult terrains.

It equips large tyre profiles that further make it a capable off-roader. Speaking of which, the Ultraviolette Shockwave features 19/ 17 inch spoke wire wheels wrapped with 90/90 R19 and 110/ 90 R17 dual purpose tyres. It has a kerb weight of 120 kg.

Ultraviolette Shockwave electric dirt bike comes equipped with a 4 kWh battery pack which is linked with a 14.5 bhp electric motor. This first Ultraviolette off-roader enduro electric motorcycle produces a peak torque of 505 Nm and can push from 0- 60 kmph within 2.9 seconds. It can reach a maximum speed of 120 kmph and offer a claimed IDC range of up to 165 km on a full battery charge.

Ultraviolette Shockwave Off-Road E-Motorcycle Price

Ultraviolette Shockwave off-road electric motorcycle is launched at Rs. 1.75 lakh (ex showroom). However, for the first 1,000 customers, the company has announced a special introductory price of Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex showroom). The bookings have commenced on Ultraviolette’s official India website as well authorized dealerships across India with the deliveries set for Q1 2026.
