Vivo T1 5G To Be Flipkart Exclusive In India; Landing Page Confirms

Vivo is bringing a new smartphone lineup to India. The first model in the upcoming ‘T’ series, would be the T1 5G. The Vivo T1 5G is slated to launch next month in the country. The company had previously launched the affordable 5G smartphone in the international market. Now, ahead of the February 9 India launch, online availability has been concerned.

Vivo T1 5G Online India Availability Confirmed

The Vivo T1 5G will be launched on February 9 in India. This is the first T-series Vivo phone in the country which will be sold via e-commerce giant Flipkart in India. The online retailer has also created a microsite for the next budget Vivo 5G phone on its platform which confirms the aforementioned launch date and 12 PM arrival time.

The microsite will be updated starting February 3 with the features. It is worth mentioning that the Vivo T1 5G will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart in the country. Rumors are rife the pricing of the upcoming 5G phone could be under Rs. 20,000 in the country. However, Vivo has not backed this information and the actual pricing would only be confirmed once the handset goes official.

Vivo T1 5G Specifications Expected In India

The Vivo T1 5G wouldn’t be announced with the same set of internals as the Chinese counterpart. The handset will be using the Snapdragon 695 processor instead of the Snapdragon 778G SoC used in the international model. It is expected to arrive with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. It is said to ship with Android 11 OS topped with a Fun Touch OS interface.

Besides the processor, the imaging setup, display, and battery would be the same as the Chinese model. The Vivo T1 5G in India will come with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that will support 1080p FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will offer a flat-edged frame design like the images shared on the Flipkart microsite.

The display will have a punch-hole for a 16MP selfie snapper.  The rear camera setup would feature a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The handset will be driven by a 5,000 mAh aided by fast charging support.
