Step 1: When you need to emergency restart your Windows laptop/ PC, simply press and hold Ctrl+ ALT+ Delete keys.

Step 2: Wait for the Windows Task manager pop-up to show up on the screen

Step 3: Now, while pressing and holding down the CTRL key, also tap on the Power key that is located at the bottom right of the task manager window.
