On March 22, Xiaomi will officially introduce a new television in China. The Xiaomi TV S series is the official name of the product. The series will have top-notch specifications, a high refresh rate display, and an as-yet-undisclosed quad-core MediaTek CPU. On Weibo, the firm has posted a few teasers. Xiaomi TV S Series: Expected Specifications

Xiaomi has published two teasers on Weibo thus far. The forthcoming TV will support a 144Hz refresh rate, according to a leak. On the other hand, it has been made known that the MediaTek MT9653 chipset will be included in the smart TV.

The fact that this chip is not currently featured on MediaTek’s website suggests that it may be a new chipset, therefore allow us to point that out. The teaser indicates that the SoC would include a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 CPU. The chipset will also support 3200Mbps RAM in addition to this.

About the design, the render suggests that Xiaomi’s forthcoming smart TV will have a metal frame. It may resemble the company’s earlier TVs quite a bit. At the time of debut, the specific cost and features of this TV will be made public.
