Xiaomi Mijia F1 Air Purifier

The Mijia air purifier measures 650 x 255 x 255mm and features a minimalist white design which looks quite pleasing. The device weighs in at just 5.5 kilograms. The front has nothing else except for a Mijia Logo and round, embedded OLED touch display screen which is very informative and displays information such as the current air state, temperature and status of the purifier while giving you a very detailed understanding of the current environment. The overall volume of the machine is not large so it is very low key and very less visible in any corner of the room. 

The air purifier features air intake vents at the left and right sides and at the back. The air outlet can be seen at the top of the machine. It has been placed in such a way that people will never feel the air blowing towards their bodies. The particulate matter sensor and the temperature and humidity sensor are placed in the middle and upper position of the back of the fuselage

Xiaomi Mijia F1 Air Purifier features a Japanese brushless DC motor and backward centrifugal fan both of which have the characteristics of high power density, high operational efficiency,  very low noise, energy and power saving. The wind turbine comprises of 7 leaves that use the dynamic balancing instrument and aid in balancing, smooth running and low level of noise. The design of lower air intake and upper air outlet provides higher CADR value and at the same time reduce the operational noise.

The power rating of the device is 30 Watts and operates at a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The operational voltage range is 110 to 240 Volts. This air purifier emits a noise of 34.8 dB in sleep mode and 64 dB in working mode.

The Xiaomi Mijia Air Purifier F1 uses a three-in-one bucket consistent filter. The first layer comprises a washable nylon mesh while it mainly filters large particles and also helps reduce the filtration burden to the second layer.

The second layer uses an H13 grade HEPA high-efficiency filter element. It is the highest grade filter element for household use having a purification efficiency of PM0.3 as high as 99.97%. 

The third layer comprises columnar activated carbon with the average size being 2mm. The amount of activated carbon which is filled is almost 180g and the filling density measures at 320g/L. The iodine adsorption value measures at ≥1100 mg/g and the specific surface area stands at ≥1100 g/m3.
