Unfortunately, the company has currently only revealed the expected arrival timeline for Pixel 6a in India and not the exact date or month. But the brand might make some announcements soon. The company has also not specified any hardware change. The Pixel 6a will be heading to the Indian shelves with the identical hardware as the global model.
It is worth mentioning that Google has not released any new model post the Pixel 4a in the country. The brand had skipped the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 6 series for the Indian market but had confirmed its plan to focus on the affordable segment. Google Pixel 6a Expected India Specifications: Will It Survive The Competition?
The Google Pixel 6a will set its foot in the Indian market with the same internals as the global model. The budget Pixel 6 series phone comprises a 6.1-inch display which is an OLED panel with 1080p FHD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 6a gets its power from the in-house Tensor chipset combined with 6GB RAM.
The handset comes with 128GB storage and has Android 13 OS pre-loaded. It uses a dual-camera module at the back. The primary camera is a 12.2 MP sensor clubbed with another 12MP sensor for ultrawide frames. The Pixel 6a will come with an 8MP selfie camera and a 4,410 mAh battery unit.
