Design

The newly launched Svitch CSR 762 electric bike brings along a sporty and futuristic design language. It flaunts quadrilateral headlight design featuring LED bulbs combined with DRLs. Svitch has opted for a hybrid design approach with the CSR762 where it looks more boxy and rugged.

Svitch has also kept utility in mind while designing the CSR 762 electric motorcycle. It comprises a large 40l luggage space which comes as a replacement for the fuel tank available in the conventional ICE motorcycles. There is also an additional small compartment placed on the fuel tank that acts as a storage for smartphone and other handy items.

Powertrain

The Svift CSR 762 e-motorcycle has a 3 kW PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) electric motor mounted at the mid-frame. This electric motorcycle offers a premium performance delivery. Its motor is capable of producing 3kW or 4 bhp of nominal power, whereas, the peak power figure attained its 10kW or 13.4 bhp. The CSR 762 electric motorcycle can further produce a peak torque of 56 Nm.

Battery And Range

The battery pack driving the Svitch CSR 762 electric motorcycle measures 3.6 kWh (72W 50Ah). According to the company, this electric motorcycle can offer up to 160 km range on a single charge. However, we can’t confirm the real life range as of now.

Top Speed

The Svitch CSR 762 debuts as a high-performance electric motorcycle which can achieve up to 110 km/h top speed. This pits it against the likes of the Tork Kratos, Oben Rorr, and others.

Braking And Suspension

The Svitch CSR 762 electric bike comes with disc braking system both upfront and the rear. At the front it has 300mm disc brake, while at the rear it includes a 280mm disc. Furthermore, it also has a combi braking system that improves the ride safety.

Since the Svitch CSR 762 electric motorcycle is designed on a tubular frame, it features RSU (Restricted Stock Unit) suspension upfront and mono shock absorbers at the rear.

Now, Tata has announced up to Rs. 1.05 lakh of total discount on the Tigor EV in India. The company is offering this discount on the MY2023 models. Additionally, older variants of the Tigor EV have also received discounts. It appears that Tata is clearing all the older stocks and the latest discount will play a major role in it.

Breaking down the discount offers, Tata is offering a comprehensive discount package which comprises up to Rs. 75,000 of flat cash discount. Additionally, there is also up to Rs. 30,000 exchange bonus that buyers will get on the Tigor EV purchase.

It is worth mentioning that the discount offers announced by Tata on the Tigor EV comes as a limited period deal. As previously mentioned, these deals are only applicable on the MY2023 and older variants of the Tigor EV. Also, this is a limited period discount offer whose benefits can be availed till the stock lasts at the dealerships. The timeframe for the discount on both Tiago EV and the Tigor EV will be valid till January 2024.

Should You Buy?

Well, the discount deals announced for the Tigor EV comes at the time when Tata is bringing a new electric microSUV in the market. The fresh deals is a strategy to clear up older stocks and make way for the new model. But Tata wouldn’t be taking the Tigor EV off-shelves anytime soon and hence the reduced price range does make it a great deal.

As per the fresh information, the Tata Punch EV’s Medium Range variant will come integrated with a 25 kWh battery pack. This same capacity has been tipped by multiple sources in the past.

In addition, this base version of the Tata Punch EV will be producing 82 PS power and a peak torque of 114NM. Top speed which this Punch EV model is said to achieve is 110 kmph, whereas, the ARAI claimed range is 315 km per charge.

Power produced will be 122PS and the peak torque generated will be 190 NM. The Tata Punch EV Long Range model’s top speed is said to be around 140km/h.

Mahindra BE.05 Test Mule Spotted: What Does Images Hint About Design

Mahindra has already showcases the BE.05 and BE.09 concept EVs both of which are expected to go official in the coming years in India. The former has been spotted out in the wild wrapped in a camouflage skin. The upcoming electric SUV will flaunt a bold stance as was highlighted with the concept.

The Mahindra BE.05 test mule image can be seen with angular body panels at the front as well as the sides. There is a sharp roof spoiler placed at the back that further contributes to the stylish road presence. Upfront, one can see the prominent LED DRLs which we expect will deliver a good light throw.

Unfortunately, these test mule images of the Mahindra BE.05 doesn’t reveal the cabin design. Therefore, it becomes a little difficult to anticipate what all features will Mahindra add to enhance the premium and luxurious feel.

But it is being suggested that Mahindra will ship this e-SUV with the same elements as was showcased with the concept. That said, possible inclusions will be a dual-screen digital display with connected car technology including support for Android Auto and Apple Car Play.

The BE.05 RWD model is said to offer around 285PS power, while the BE.05 all-wheel drive model will possible deliver around 394PS power. A 60kWh battery pack is expected to power the Mahindra BE.05 electric SUV that will allow it to deliver a 450 km driving range.

Reality Or Concept?

The Raptee transparent electric motorcycle that has been showcased at the GIM (Global Investors Meet) was apparently a production-ready model. While the upcoming transparent electric motorcycle is said to be in the concept phase currently, it will soon become a reality too. The EV manufacture has revealed its plans to launch this see-through electric motorcycle in the coming months.

When Is The Launch Timeline?

According to several reports online, the Raptee transparent electric motorcycle will be launched officially in April 2024 in India. However, Raptee is yet to reveal the confirmed date for the launch of its see-through electric motorcycle. Also, the deliveries date are not known and it can’t be said if the brand will commence the deliveries from the launch day itself or a few months later depending upon the stocks’ availability.

The Raptee transparent electric motorcycle will feature a powerful all-electric drivetrain, according to the brand. While the exact specifics aren’t announced, this new see-through electric motorcycle is said to be loaded with a heavy-duty motor that will allow it to deliver 135kmph top speed and an acceleration speed of 0-60 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

This unique transparent electric motorcycle will deliver around 150 km range with one full charge. It will be equipped with rapid charging technologies and also compatibility with CCS2 charging stations. The company reveals this CCS2 charging stations would take only 45 minutes to refuel the Raptee transparent elecric motorcycle to up to 80 percent.

Tata is offering up to Rs. 65,000 of green bonus on the Tiago EV old-gen models in addition to up to Rs. 15,000 of exchange bonus. Furthermore, the Tata Tiago EV MY2024 models will be available with Rs. 20,000 green bonus and up to Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus.

It is being reported that the discount offers on the Tiago EV models including the MY2023 (remaining stocks) and MY2024 models (fresh stock) are subject to availability at the dealerships. The deals might vary from dealer to dealer which will be depending on the stocks.
