The Realme GT 5 will be launched on August 28 in China. The brand has teased the official launch date for its new-generation gaming handset via the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. Xu Qi Chase, President, Realme China, has already teased the key features of the Realme GT 5 including the chipset and RAM capacity. Additionally, the handset has also been spotted at the benchmark website Geekbench ahead of its official launch which confirms the preformance hardware previously teased by the brand. That said, the Realme GT 5 will be launched with the Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile chipset, i.e., the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

That’s not it, this handset will also feature a 24GB LPDDR5X RAM which combined with the premium Qualcomm processor will allow it to deliver a speedy performance even with the most extensive apps and games. The Realme GT 5 has been listed on the Geekbench website with the Realme RMX 3820 model number. In addition to the chipset and RAM configuration, the Realme GT 5’s Geekbench listing has also revealed the benchmark scores.

In the single-core test on Geekbench, the Realme GT 5 has has logged 2017 points. Whereas, in the multi-core test, it has scores 5408 points. The benchmark listing of the Realme GT 5 has also confirmed Android 13 OS which would be topped by a custom Realme UI interface. The screen supports a 2K resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Additionally, the panel offers a refresh rate of 90Hz and has a peak brightness of 400 nits. The Redmi Pad SE’s display is TUV Rheinland certified that helps the screen to cut down on Blue light emissions.

In terms of camera hardware, the Redmi Pad SE employs a single 8MP camera sensor at the rear panel. The rear camera of the new Redmi tablet is capable of recording 1080p videos @30 fps. The selfies and video calling requirements are taken care of by a single 5MP camera up front. For the audio delivery, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE has a quad-speaker module combined with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio technologies.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE tablet utilizes the mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset for performance delivery. This Qualcomm chipset is fabricated using a 6nm processor and is clubbed with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options for multitasking requirements. Unlike the multiple storage options, the Redmi Pad SE has a single 128GB onboard storage space. It also features an microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The Redmi Pad SE will be shipping with Android 13 OS which will be layered with an MIUI 14 Pad interface on top. This UI will allow the tablet to double up as laptop for convenience with various tasks. In terms of connectivity, the new Redmi Pad tablet will offer standard Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS networks. It will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. The Redmi Pad SE will be drawing its power from an 8,000 mAh battery pack which will support a standard 10W charging.

Redmi Pad SE Price, Official India Launch Timeline

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE starting at €199 (approx. Rs. 18,000 ) for the 4GB RAM model. This tablet with 6GB RAM is priced at €229 (approx Rs. 20,500), while the top model is launched at €249 (approx. Rs. 22,700). The color options available for this notebook includes Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green shades. Xiaomi is yet to announce the Redmi Pad SE’s official launch date for India but the developments could soon emerge.
