According to our source, the upcoming iTel phone will be launched with a tall display measuring 6.6-inches. The display pane will possibly be an IPS LCD which is standard with almost every budget smartphone in the country. Additionally, the upcoming iTel phone is further said to offer a mammoth 6,000 mAh battery unit. What will make this handset ahead in its league is the added 18W fast charging support which we hardly see in the entry-level segment. However, the Poco C50 has a larger 6.52-inch screen compared to the Nokia C12. As per the leak, the MediaTek Dimenisty 9200+ processor will also feature an octa-core CPU cluster as the standard Dimensity 9200 chipset. However, the new chipset will offer an increased CPU frequency compared to the current-gen variant. It is expected that the Dimensity 9200+ mpbile chipset will also feature a 1+2+3 core cluster design similar to the standard Dimensity 9200 SoC.

According to the reports, the Dimensity 9200+ will feature one large core that could possibly offer over 3.05GHz clock speed. The remaining core details are yet to be revealed. Just to recap, the standard Dimensity 9200 mobile processor’s 1+3+4 CPU cluster includes one Cortex-X2 core with up to 3GHz clock speed, three Cortex-A710 cores with up to 2.85GHz clock speed, and four Cortex-A510 cores with up to 1.8GHz clock speed.

It remains to be seen what major upgrades the Dimensity 9200+’s core cluster will have compared to the standard version. Also, the GPU integrated with the vanilla Dimensity 9200 chipset is Immortalis-G715 GPU. We can expect an upscaled Immortalis GPU integrated inside the Dimensity 9200+ 5G chipset. The Honda Activa electric scooter was previously rumored to go official in the Indian market by March 2024. However, the brand has now confirmed its arrival alongside the upgraded standard Activa 2023 version in January 2024. This launch timeline is almost two months prior to the one tipped earlier.

While the brand has revealed the January 2024 launch timeline for the Activa electric scooter, it is yet to announce the exact date for its arrival in the country. As per a new report by Rushlane, Bajaj is working on a new electric scooter that might see the light of the day anytime soon. The report suggests that Bajaj has already applied for the “Blade” name patent for its next electric scooter. While there is no confirmation from the brand just yet, we are expecting some developments to be confirmed in the coming days.

Nevertheless, the report suggests that the Blade EV will offer a better riding range compared to the current-generation Bajaj Chetak Premium electric scooter. Thanks to the online leaks, the powertrain and some of the other features of the Bajaj Blade electric scooter are known. The pricing tipped for the Bajaj Blade EV is around Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Soon, the company plans to add the third-generation mobile processor in this high-end series called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Contrary topast reports that claimed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will feature the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the latest report suggests a new CPU core layout. While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 offered a 1+4+3 core cluster design, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is said to feature 1+5+2 CPU cluster. This new architecture design is said to allow the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC to offer improved CPU and GPU efficiency over the previous-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen series mobile chipsets.

Furthermore, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is rumored to pack at least one core with a 3.2Ghz of clock speed. The remaining core cluster is said to comprise five Cortex A720 cores with a clock speed of 3.0GHz and two CortexA520 cores with 2.0GHz clock speed. In addition to this new CPU cluster, the latest leaks also confirm the TSMC N4P fabrication process for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

This information corroborate with the previous leaks indicating the same fabrication process as the SD 8 Gen 2. Some rumors also hint the use of an entirely different 3nm fabrication process for the SD 8 Gen 3. It seems that we will have to wait for a while to be sure of the exact fabrication design of the upcoming flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile SoC.

That said to of the CPU and fabrication, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is said to be integrated with an Adreno 750 GPU which is a significant improvement over the Adreno 740 and Adreno 730 used by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 respectively. The storage compatibility will likely be UFS 4.1, while the memory support expected is LPDDR5. The chipset will also include the Qualcomm X75 5G modem for faster 5G network speeds.

Smartphones Expected To Launch With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

None of the smartphone brands have released the moniker of the expected models that will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. However, we can expect some of the names during this chipset’s official launch. Top-of-the-line handsets from Samsung, OnePlus, iQOO, and others will possibly be amongst the first to debut with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. We will share updates once available.

Hyundai has revived its compact crossover electric car Kona. The latest Kona EV is redesigned with new looks and a better range. Besides the design, Hyundai has also optimized the powertrain for improved performance and range. Here are the details:

Revamped Hyundai Kona EV: What’s New

The latest version of Hyundai Kona EV has been redesigned with a sleek finish compared to the previous-gen model’s compact crossover look. The Hyundai Kona EV interiors have also been modified to complement the modern look. More room inside the cabin has been added as a part of redesign.

Additional improvements that the new Kona EV gets over the existing models include i-Pedal one-pedal driving feature and battery pre-conditioning. The latter is said to aid with speed charging and improved range in cold weather.

Speaking of the powertrain, the revamped version of Kona EV features a 65.4kWh battery module. The range offered is said to be 304 miles (approx 482 km) per charge. The company claims the latest Kona EV offers over 258 miles better range compared to the current-generation Kona EV. The battery charging time as per the company from 10 to 80 percent is up to 41 minutes.

Hyundai Kona EV New Variant Pricing, Availabilty

Hyundai is yet to announce the pricing of the Kona EV facelift. The avalabililty timeline is also not revealed as of now. As per the reports, Hyundai will be making the rvamped Kona EV available by Q3 of 2023. It is confirmed to sell alongside the existing versions in the US. Unfortunately, it is unknown of this version of Hyundai Kona EV will debut in India. But possibilities of a launch sooner or later in the country can’t be ruled out entirely. That’s considering the expanding EV market in India.

POCO X5 series is all set to get a new member soon in India. Following the Poco X5 Pro, the brand is now set to launch the vanilla X5 in the country. Just a few days ago, the expected launch timeline of the latest Poco X series phone was leaked. Now, Poco itself has teased the standard X5’s India launch date and also the pricing. Let’s take a look at the details:

Poco via its official Twitter India handle has revealed the vanilla Poco X5 launch date. The brand will be introducing the second model in the Poco X5 series on March 14. Poco has already confirmed the Poco X5’s online availability in India via Flipkart. In addition to the launch date and availability, Poco has also teased the pricing of the Poco X5.

The brand has suggested a price label below Rs. 20,000 for the next Poco X series phone in the country. Just for reference, the Poco X5 Pro which went official recently in India is priced at Rs. 22,999. A lower price tag and trimmed spec-sheet is what we already expect from the Poco X5 compared to its older sibling, i.e., the Poco X5 Pro.

The vanilla Poco X5 is said to arrive with a 6.67-inch screen. The AMOLED display will have an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen on the Poco X5 is also said to get a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The camera hardware on the vanilla Poco X5 is rumored to comprise a 48MP main camera at the rear along with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens.
