Google Warning For Samsung Galaxy, Pixel, Vivo Users: What Is The New Security Threat?

The security research team at Google called Project Zero has reportedly identified as many as 18 new vulnerabilities that can give hackers a control over a user’s device. What’s alarming is that the user remains unaware of their device hack. These critical security flaws are said to be affecting multiple Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel users. A bunch Vivo phones are also reported to be affected by this major security flaw.

As per Project Zero’s researchers, these bugs can allow any attacker to compromise the device security by just using the victims mobile number. Reports further suggests that these attacks can be carried silently using a malicious mobile network to install malwares on the hacked devices.

Tim Willis, Project Zero-head, these critical security flaws were initially discovered towards the end of 2022 and early 2023. Out of the eighteen flaws, four vulnerabilities are said to be more critical than the rest. Also, the serious vulnerability threats have been assigned CVE (Common Vulnerability and Exposures) number. Some of them are CVE-2023-26072, CVE-2023-26073, CVE-2023-26074, CVE-2023-26075, and CVE-2023-26076.

Project Zero has revealed the list of smartphone models that are affected with these 18 vulnerabilities. Samsung phones primarily the ones running on an Exynos processor can be exploited using these security vulnerabilities. The list of Galaxy phone affected are mentioned below:

According to an exclusive report by 91Mobiles, the Poco F5 5G is set to make its debut in the Indian market on April 6, 2023. The publication claims the information has been shared by some of the industry sources. While Poco is yet to give an official nod to this detail, the suggested timeline seems accurate consider the source of the tip. Nevertheless, the company could possibly introduce this handset in the first week of April if not on the aforementioned date.

Currently, only the upcoming launch timeline has been revealed. The expected price tag of the handset is yet to be confirmed. That said, the online reports suggests Poco F5 could debut with almost a similar starting price as its successor, i.e., the Poco F4 5G. This means, we might see a sub Rs, 30,000 price range (starting) for the Poco F5 5G in India. Notably, this is just a speculation based on the pricing of the previous-gen model. The actual cost could differ.

Going by the recent leaks and rumors, the Poco F5 5G could be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo 5G. The latter is also expected to launch sometime soon in the Chinese market. As for the spec-sheet, we might see the Qualcomm’s recently launched premium Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile chipset under the Poco F5 5G’s hood.

This handset is likely to ship with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB native storage space. The firmware pre-installed could be Android 13 OS topped with a custom user interface (MIUI) likely. The Poco F5 5G is further said to flaunt a large 6.67-inch display which will be an AMOLED screen supporting an QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel will also get an HDR10+ certification and 1400 nots peak brightness.

For optics, Poco will be using a triple lens setup on the F5 5G which will include a 50MP main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP lens. Lastly, the Poco F5 5G is said to be powered by a 5,500 mAh battery unit which will combine 67W fast charging.

According to the reports, the new-generation OPPO tablet will be equipped with an LCD screen similar to the previous-gen model. The 11-inch display is said to offer 2000 x 2800 pixels screen resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate is one of the biggest upgrades that the OPPO Pad 2 will feature compared to the vanilla Pad variant. The screen wil support 500 nits peak brightness levels, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10+. The OPPO Pad 2’s display is unque as it offers a book-like experience with the large 7:5 aspect ratio.

Hero has revealed that the new range of electric scooters are packed with Japanese-motor technolgy, hibernating battery technology, and German ICU technolgy that will ensure smooth and comfortable rides. Also, the Hero used a dynamic synchronized powertrain to optimize the performance delivery with the Optima CX5.0, Optima 2X5.0, and NYX5.0.

However, the powertrain is not entirely changed on all three elctric scooters. Its primairily the addition of new features along with battery and powertrain optimization. Speaking of which, the latest Hero Optima CX5.0 features a 3kWh battery unit. This variant gets its power from a 1.9 kW motor and delivers a top speed of 55 kmph. The range delivered by the Optima CX5.0 is 113km per charge.

On the other hand, the Optima CX2.0 (single battery) variant gets a 2kWh battery unit. The motor capacity here is same as the Optima CX5.0, i.e., 1.9kW. This model can attain a top spped of 48 kmph and offer a range of up to 89 km on a single charge.

Lastly, the NYX CX5.0 also gets the same 1.9kW electric motor. This model is also packed with dual LFP battery module as the Optima CX5.0 (3kWh capacity). The riding range and top speed offered by the NFX CX5.0 is 113 km per charge and 55kmph respectively. Battery charging time is around 3 hours as per the company.

The latest Hero Electric Comfort and City speed scooters have been announced between Rs. 85,000- Rs. 95,000 and Rs. 1,05,000-Rs. 1,30,000 respectively. Color options introduced for the Optima CX5.0 and the Optima CX2.0 are Dark Matte Blue and Charcoal Black, while the NYX electric scooter has been launched in Charcoal Black and Pearl White shades.

How To Update And Change Mobile Number On Aadhaar Card Online

Indian government has authorized multiple identification documents for personal identification of residents in the country. How To Update, Change, Or Add A New Phone Number On Aadhaar Card Online

Step 1: You would first need to visit the official UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority In India) website and then make the required changes. Open any web browser on your laptop, PC or mobile and type www.uidai.gov.in. Hit enter.

Step 2: Once the UIDAI website’s homepage opens up, tap on the “My Aadhaar” tab.

Step 3: From the dropdown, click the Update Aadhaar Details (Online) option. Once you perform this step, you will be redirected to the Aadhaar Self Service Update portal.

Step 4: Now, select the “Update your address online” option.

Step 5: On the next page, you will be asked to enter the 12-digit aadhaar card number along with the security code on the screen.

Step 6: Tap on the Send OTP option.

The Komaki LY Pro electric scooter is launched in India with a hub-mounted electric motor. The motor capacity is 3kW and it gets 38 AMP controllers. Komaki has packed the LY Pro electric scooter with dual G2V32AH batteries that are compatible with dual connector charger.

Notably, the battery module on the Komaki LY Pro EV is swappable. This setup is better than the fixed battery module offered by some of the rivals. The charging speeds are said to be approximately five hours from zero to 100 percent when charged continuously.

Moving on to the top speed, the Komaki LY Pro EV can reach up to 62 kmph. But this top speed is when the riding mode is Turbo. In the Eco mode, this scooter will deliver a lower top speed of 58 kmph. For reference, it has a total of three riding modes including Eco, Sports, and Turbo. It also features a Reverse parking mode.

Additional features that the latest Komaki electric scooter brings to the table include TFT digital instrument cluster and a connected vehicle platform for navigation, Bluetooth, and calling. It features 12-inch wheels with alloys and a dual disc braking system.

Nokia Magic Max Flagship Phone, Nokia C99: Launch, Price Details

The Nokia Magic Max was showcased at the MWC 2023 event held in Barcelona. The company had teased two of its upcoming phones at the mega mobile tech event. The Nokia Magic Max 2023 and the Nokia C99 are the two models that the company plans to launch this year in the global markets.

As mentioned above, the Nokia Magic Max 5G 2023 will be the most powerful Nokia handset till date. Seems that Nokia is buckling up to bring some heat to the premium segment with this new Android smartphone. Going by the reports, the Nokia Magic Max 5G will make its official debut in the coming months. However, the Nokia C99 will be making an early arrival on April 28, 2023.

Nokia is yet to confirm both these handset’s availability on the aforementioned dates in India.   We will have to wait for the developments on the same. Speaking of the pricing, the Nokia Magic Max 5G is tipped to carry around $560 price tag which is approximately Rs. 45,000. On the other hand, the Nokia C99, could retail at $480 which is somewhere around Rs. 40,000.

According to the rumors, the Nokia Magic Max 5G 2023 will be launched with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that will support 120Hz refresh rate. The Nokia Magic Max 5G will have one the most powerful camera hardware including a 144MP main lens at the rear clubbed with a 64MP wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto sensor.

This would be the largest primary sensor we have seen on any Nokia handset launched in the last few years. The battery tipped for the Nokia Magic Max 5G is also the biggest, i.e., 7,950 mAh. The fast charging capacity tipped is 180W. Nokia will be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile chipset to power its top-of-the-line flagship Android handset combined with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The spec-sheet definitely is top-notch and seems that Nokia will surely get some heads turning with its upcoming premium smartphone.
