KN Radhakrishnan, TVS India CEO has hinted the arrival of a new electric two-wheeler in the Indian market. The brand had witnessed a spike in sale in the previous quarter where it sold 48,000 units. For reference, this figure was only 29,000 units a quarter before. Radhakrishnan shared this information during an investor’s call.

Additionally, the CEO also revealed the plans to launch a new electric scooter in the Indian market. The timeline is set for next quarter. This means within next three months another new electric scooter from TVS will be launched for the Indian consumers. While TVS is expected to confirm the moniker of the upcoming two-wheeler electric scooter in the coming months, the rumor mill has been suggesting which model we can expect.

Will It Be The TVS iQube ST E-Scooter?

Since nothing concrete has been confirmed by the TVS India CEO, online reports are pointing at the iQube ST’s debut. That’s considering TVS has showcased the iQube ST model almost a year back and hasn’t made it available for purchase officially. The battery capacity powering the TVS iQube ST electric scooter is a 4.5 kWh unit which comes with 1.5 kW fast charging support and 950W standard charger.

This upcoming electric scooter will be delivering around 145 km range on a full charge. With the standard charger, the battery will take 0- 80 percent charge within 4 hours 6 minutes. The top speed offered by the TVS iQube ST will be up to 82 kph.

According to the leaks, Jeep will use its parent company (Stellantis’) STLA Medium platform for the Compass EV. Stellantis had introduced this new architecture last year itself. The Jeep Compass electric SUV could come with both FWD (Front Wheel Drive) and AWD (All Wheel Drive) capabilities.

This premium electric SUV’s motor could produce up to 388 hp of peak power. It is expected to be driven by up to 98 kWh battery module with a claimed range delivery of around 500 km on a full charge. The Compass EV with Performance pack is further expected to offer a higher range of 700 km per charge. The Hyundai Creta EV’s production ready test mule has been spotted on the streets wrapped heavily with camouflage taping. While the wrapping hides the prominent design elements, it is evident that the major design cues have been borrowed from the Creta facelift model. But rumors as well the leaked test mule image does suggest slight alteration that will be limited to the EV model.

The list of design updates highlighted by the Creta EV’s leaked test mule images shows aerodynamic-alloy wheels which will improve its road stance. The Creta EV could feature a new blanked-off grille and house the charging port upfront. The spy shots has inly showcased the exterior design and not the interiors.

Okaya EV has introduced authorized EV charging stations in Ayodhya for the Water Metro project. The company has installed super fast 150 kWh CC2 electric vehicle chargers providing a vital support for EV ferries that will operate in the inland waterways of Ayodhya. The EV ferries operating in the inland waterways have a capacity of carrying up to 50 passengers at once.

Mahindra BE.07 Patent Leak: Design Similar To Concept Model?

The latest Mahindra BE.07 leaked patent image shows a the same design approach as the original concept which the brand had first showcased back in 2022. This model will feature a traditional SUV-styling and will have a subtle stance unlike the BE.05 which appears more sporty in design. A large panoramic sunroof will be included as seen in the patent image.

The BE.07’s patent image has revealed C-shaped headlamps which we have seen in the concept. The same designing is used for the taillight. It is suggested that this new electric coupe SUV’s dimension will be 4,565mm (length), 1900 mm (width), 1,660 mm (height). The wheelbase is said to measure 2,775 mm, while the length expected is 4.6m in length (larger than that of the BE.05).

Moving on to the interiors, the details are missing here with the patent image as was the case with the BE.05 and the BE.09. However, as shown with the concept, we might get to see a large infotainment screen with touch compatibility.
