Guerrilla announced it in a tweet about hiring. The studio has established a separate team to build an “online project set in Horizon’s universe,” in addition to working on new “epic solo experiences for Aloy,” the protagonist of the original two games. It was also mentioned that the latter will have new characters, a “unique stylized look,” and the ability for friends to play together, indicating a concentration on co-op.

Since last year, there have been rumors that Guerrilla was developing a multiplayer version of Horizon, and the studio has officially confirmed this. Sony is giving live service games more attention. By March 2026, it intends to release ten of them, one of which will be a multiplayer sequel to The Last of Us. However, it’s not yet apparent how the Horizon online game fits into that approach.

There is yet more to come from the franchise in addition to the three planned games and the Forbidden West DLC. A Horizon TV show is in development on Netflix. Rumor has it that a mobile game and a Zero Dawn remaster for PS5 are also in the pipeline.

Hide PiP Mode And Play Video In The Background

Swipe the thumbnail view to the side if it is blocking your view. Swipe the video screen slightly to the right or left depending on whether the PiP screen is positioned on the right or left of the screen.

The video will disappear but a tab will remain so you can access it later. You can continue to hear the audio from the video or FaceTime call.

Disable And Close PiP Mode

To return to fullscreen, click the PiP Mode symbol in the top-right corner of the minimized screen. Additionally, tap the cross on the minimized screen’s top-left corner.
