The base Core i3 variant features four efficiency and performance cores, along with eight threads. The Core i5 variant comes with eight efficiency, two performance cores, and twelve threads.

The Lenovo Ideapad 5 gaming Chromebook is packed with a 16-inch display. It is an IPS LCD panel with 1600 x 2560 pixel WQXGA screen resolution. The display supports sRGB color gamut full coverage and 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission. The panel delivers around 350 nits of peak brightness which will offer decent visibility under direct sunlight.
