It’s been a while since HMD tipped the launch of its first Android smartphone in India with the HMD labelling. Previously, the Finnish giant has been catering to the consumers with Nokia smartphones globally and introduced its first international model called the HMD Pulse recently. Now, HMD is said to embark its India journey with an entry-level model called Arrow. What all developments are we aware of? Read on below:

HMD Arrow India Launch On Cards
HMD has confirmed the launch of its first smartphone in the Indian market. The Finnish smartphone giant has been teasing its upcoming Android smartphone’s launch via its social media handles and also started a contest recently on X for its new smartphone. Now, another post on X in collaboration with Rajasthan Royals IPL Team has been shared by HMD which reiterates the upcoming HMD phone’s launch in the country.
HMD hasn’t yet announced the exact date and time for its first Android smartphone’s launch in the country. The moniker is also yet to be officially announced. But it is being reported that HMD will cbe introducing the handset as Arrow.

It is worth adding that the HMD Arrow is rumored to be the rebadged HMD Pulse which has been launched in the international market. The latter is also an entry-segment Android handset which sports a 6.65-inch LCD screen supporting a standard 720 x 1612 HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The HMD Pulse features a 13MP single rear camera for photography and an 8MP selfie snapper upfront. At its core, the HMD Pulse uses the octa-core Unisoc T606 processor clubbed with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB native storage space. The spec-sheet is further completed with a 5,000 mAh battery pack. These same specs will be seen on the HMD Arrow as well considering it is debuting as a rebadged model in the Indian market.
