How Can You Upload Long Videos On Instagram?
Before we proceed with the steps on the same, we would like to add that you can only upload IGTV videos that are of longer durations using the desktop version on your laptop or PC. You won’t be able to perform the steps using Android or iOS devices. One of the primary reasons is the limitations of video durations on the Instagram mobile app. And you don’t need any workarounds with the desktop versions. The steps are easy to perform. Step 1: Open any web browser on your laptop or PC and go to the Instagram website.
Step 2: Log in to the account using your credentials.
Step 3: You now need to click on the “Plus” icon placed on the top-right corner of the Instagram homepage.
Step 4: A new tab will open up where you’d need to add the video file from the laptop/PC storage. Go to the folder where the video is stored and select the file.
Step 5: In the next step, you’ll be asked to select the aspect ratio that you want to set for the video. Select the desired frame.
Step 6: After you have completed the aforementioned steps, click on “Next”.
Step 7: In the next step, you will get the option to select the cover photo. You can choose the desired frame from the video itself.
Step 8: If in case, you want to trim the video you can do that after selecting the cover image.
Step 9: Now, all you need to do is tag your friends and add a caption for the video file. You can also add a location if you wish to.
Step 10: Just click on the ‘Share’ tab and you will have a long duration video uploaded to your profile.
