[Giznext Exclusive]: Infinix Zero 5G Smartphone India Launch Confirmed For Second Week Of February

Infinix is all set to launch its first 5G smartphone in India. The Infinix Zero 5G smartphone has already been listed in Google Play Console and soon, it will be launched in the country as per a teaser shared by the company via its official Twitter account.

The tweet reads: “From zero everything came and into zero everything merges. Get ready to witness zero in an all-new avatar. #ComingSoon.”

Notably, the company has not shared the exact launch date of the device, but industry sources have informed Giznext that it will be launched in the second week of February and will be available in Flipkart in two colour options. In addition, sources confirmed that the much-awaited smartphone will be priced between Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 20,000.

That’s all the key information we have sourced right now; however, several reports are doing rounds online claiming that the upcoming smartphone will have MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. Also, the report claims that the device will have a uni-curve design and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Infinix Zero 5G Smartphone: Expected Specifications

It is also expected that the device will run Android 11 with XOS 10 skin on top. The device will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Infinix Zero 5G will have a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor that might be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of in-house storage.

Additionally, the device is likely to feature a triple rear camera setup at the back, including a 48MP primary sensor along with a telephoto sensor and ultra-wide-angle sensor.

On the other hand, another report claims that the primary camera will include a 40MP primary camera along with 30X optical zoom, while the front camera will have a 16MP selfie sensor.

On the connectivity front, the Infinix Zero 5G smartphone is said to support a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G, NFC, USB, and Type-C. Furthermore, the smartphone is expected to come with microSD card support, a fingerprint scanner, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging support.

Apart from the 5G device, the smartphone maker is likely to bring six smartphones and a new laptop in the first half of 2022.
