[Giznext Exclusive]: iQOO 9 Series India Launch Confirmed In January 2022; These Are The Key Specifications

While there is no information about the iQOO 8 series official launch in India, the company is planning to bring its successor in the Indian market, i.e., the iQOO 9 series. Yes, you heard it right as the Chinese smartphone maker will be launching the new flagship lineup in India next year in January 2022.

iQOO has not yet revealed the details; however, Giznext has received exclusive information from the industry sources that the iQOO 9 series will be available in India in January 2022. In addition, our sources revealed that the upcoming series will have two devices called the iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Legend.

We also managed to grab details related to, the iQOO 9 series specifications. The iQOO 9 Legend will have the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 flagship processor. It will also feature an AMOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

iQOO 9 Smartphone Series Previous Leaks

It is important to note that the iQOO 9 series has been spotted on the Indian IMEI database and the base model has been listed with the V2171A model number. Previously, the same model number has been spotted on another database.

This clearly shows that the devices will be available soon in India and other markets. This is all we have right now, but we know that it is going to be a successor of the iQOO 8 series, which is why we are listing specifications of the same devices as they are already available in China.

iOQQ 8 Series Launch In India

The iQOO 8 series is already available in China, and now, it might launch in India this month or at the beginning of the next month. The base iQOO 8 comes with a 6.78-inch 2K Samsung E5 AMOLED display, 20:9 aspect ratio, 92.2 percent screen-to-body ratio.

It supports triple cameras at the back, including a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary sensor, 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 16MP portrait lens. Additionally, there is a 16MP snapper at the front and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

On the other hand, the iQOO 8 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch, AMOLED display, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. Furthermore, the device features a triple-lens camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, 48MP ultra-wide lens, and 16MP lens for portrait shots. The device will also have a 16MP selfie shooter at the front.
