Kia Motors India announced that the highly anticipated Kia EV6 electric vehicle will resume bookings in India on April 15th, with no price hike. The Kia EV6 first batch was imported as a CBU (completely built-up) unit and sold out quickly, with 432 units sold to interested buyers.

The Kia EV6 is a premium electric crossover that offers impressive specs and advanced features. The vehicle is offered in two drivetrain options, RWD and AWD, which produce 229ps (350Nm) and 325ps (605Nm) of peak outputs, respectively. Both variants use a 77.4 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that can be fast charged via a 350W DC charger, and can be topped up from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.

The AWD variant delivers a claimed range of 708km, making it one of the longest range EVs in India. The EV6 is equipped with an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, two 12.3-inch screens, eight airbags, a powered driver seat, a heads-up display, and an electric tailgate. It also features advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including a blind-spot view monitor, lane-following assist, and high beam assist.

Kia EV6: Price & Availability

The Kia EV6 will be available for bookings in India starting April 15th, with no price hike despite the high demand for the vehicle. The Kia EV6 GT Line will be available at Rs 60.95 lakh and the GT Line AWD will sell for Rs 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Interested buyers can book the EV6 online or through any of Kia’s dealerships across India. Deliveries of the EV6 are expected to begin in the coming months, depending on the variant and location of the buyer.
