OPPO India has introduced the Imagine IF Photography Awards, aimed at inspiring creativity in mobile photography. With SS Rajamouli, the renowned Director & Screenwriter, as its Indian ambassador, the initiative is set to ignite the passion for photography among Indians. The Imagine IF Photography Awards were first launched globally in 2023 and saw immense participation from over 51 countries. Now, in its second year, the awards are making their debut in India. Competition Details
The competition is open to all Indian citizens aged 18 and above, with nine entry categories including Landscape, Portrait, Colors, and more. The judging panel comprises expert photographers such as Joseph Radhik, Arzoo Khurana, Arjun Mark, and other global experts.
Timeline and Selection Process
Participants can send in their smartphone photographs for ‘Round 1’ until June 15, 2024 (Midnight IST). Fifty winners will be selected and announced by the end of June to proceed to Round 2. The final six winners will be revealed on July 25, 2024, after the second phase, which starts in early July.
Prizes
The Gold winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,00,000, with two Silver winners receiving Rs. 2,00,000 each, and three Bronze winners getting Rs. 1,00,000 each. All five winners will also get the chance to attend the Paris Show and receive the latest OPPO phone. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with OPPO India on photography-led projects.

OPPO Ambassador Conclave
The awards were announced during the OPPO Ambassador Conclave in Mumbai, which also saw the unveiling of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, the world’s first quad main camera with HyperTone Image Engine. The event included discussions led by industry leaders, influencers, and OPPO Ambassadors like Rajeev Masand, Anubhav Sinha, Sudeep Chatterjee, Monaz Todywalla, and Raj Kamble. Topics included the evolution of smartphone photography, AI advancements, and the rise of content creators.
