Realme recently launched the all-new Realme X7 Max 5G in India and it is now the flagship smartphone in the company’s India line-up. Realme’s flagship X7 series also includes the Realme X7 5G and the Realme X7 Pro 5G. In today’s article, we have shared with you the Pros and Cons of the new Realme X7 Max 5G.

Design and Colour Shades – The new Realme X7 Max 5G looks stunning, thanks to its unique dual-tone design. The smartphone gets a unique textured finish on the back panel. The new Realme X7 Max 5G is available in three colour variants. They are – Mercury Silver, Asteroid Black and Milky Way colour shades.

Powerful Processor – The new Realme X7 Max 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 octa-core chipset that comes paired with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. This chipset is based on a 6 nm process and it handles everything flawlessly.

Immersive Display – The new Realme X7 Max 5G features a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that comes with 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate system and 1000 nits of maximum brightness. This display panel offers an immersive viewing experience.

Massive Battery with Fast Charging – The Realme X7 Max 5G packs a massive 4500mAh battery that supports up to 50W SuperDart fast charging. However, the smartphone is shipped with an even more powerful 65W charger in the box. 

Good Cameras – The new Realme X7 Max 5G sports a triple camera set-up at the rear. The primary sensor is a 64 MP Sony IMX682 camera that is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. At the front, it features a 16 MP camera for selfies and videos.

Decent Price – The Realme X7 Max 5G is available in India in two variants. The base 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 26,999 while the top-spec 12 GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage variant retails at Rs 29,999. 


Build Quality – The Realme X7 Max 5G is one of the most expensive Realme smartphones currently on sale in India. However, it still gets a plastic back panel which doesn’t feel that premium. The company should have used a glass back panel considering it is a premium smartphone.

Primary Camera could have been Better – The Realme X7 Max 5G gets a 64 MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. However, considering it’s an expensive smartphone, the company should have used the 108 MP primary sensor.

Brand Value – The top-spec variant of the Realme X7 Max 5G is priced at Rs 29,999 and at this price point, people mostly prefer smartphones from more established players like OnePlus, etc. which offer a better brand value.
