At the Samsung Awesome event, a slew of Galaxy A series smartphones have been introduced by the South Korean tech giant. The Galaxy A73 5G is one of the models that has been introduced alongside the Galaxy A53 5G and the Galaxy A33 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G has been announced with a massive 6.7-inch display. Samsung has used a Super AMOLED panel which comes with 1080p FHD+ screen resolution. It is an Infinity-O panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a centrally-aligned punch-hole for the selfie camera.
The front camera cutout features a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calling with an f/2.0 aperture. The Galaxy A73 5G’s rear protruding vertical camera module has a 64MP main lens with an f/1.8 aperture. It comes with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and is combined with a 12MP ultrawide sensor which has an f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP macro sensor and a 5MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The rear camera module comes with 3x hybrid zoom and 10x digital zoom. Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is packed with the Snapdragon 778G processor octa-core chipset which has octa-cores and is paired up with up to 8GB RAM for multitasking. The Galaxy A73 5G is pre-installed with the latest Android 12 OS which is topped with OneUI 4.0 interface. The device offers an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The battery capacity is a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
