The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series and Galaxy Buds Pro 2 earbuds have arrived. These devices were announced along with the Galaxy Fold series smartphones during the company’s ‘Unpacked’ 2022 event today. For the past few years, the South Korean tech giant has been holding Unpacked events where it highlights notable smartphones, smart watches, earphones, galaxy books, and other gadgets.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 And Watch 5 Pro Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 comes in two sizes: 44mm and 40mm. They sport 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch AMOLED displays, respectively. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro gets a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED Full Colour Always On Display. An Exynos W920 dual-core CPU with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage powers both watches. These devices run on the same WearOS 3.5 version over which you get the One UI Watch 4.5 skin.
With sensors including optical heart rate, bioelectrical impedance analysis, temperature, barometer, light, and gyro among others, Samsung has outfitted both Galaxy Watches.
The Galaxy Watch 5, on the 44mm version, boasts a 410mAh battery, while the 40mm variant offers you a 284mAh battery. Besides, with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, you get a 590mAh battery capacity.

Prices for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 start at $279 (about Rs. 22,166) for the regular version and $329 (around Rs. 26,130) for the LTE model. While the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro costs $449 (about Rs. 35,600) and $499 (roughly Rs. 39,600) for the LTE version, respectively.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Specifications
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are Samsung’s next-gen wireless earbuds, adding to the company’s line of in-ears that frequently serve as top-notch add-ons for the best Samsung smartphones.
Custom two-way coaxial speakers are included in the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. With Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 12-based One UI 4.0 or higher, these earbuds support 24bit Hi-Fi audio. The company claims that these TWS earbuds also offer 360 Degree audio with Direct Multi-channel.
The earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation. They are equipped with three microphones with a high signal-to-noise ratio. Additionally, they have the ability to distinguish between human voices and background noise, allowing them to switch to the ambient mode when they hear speech.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro support Bluetooth v5.3 wireless connectivity and are compatible with Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi (SSC HiFi), AAC, and SBC codecs.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is $229.99 (roughly Rs. 18,000). They are available to pre-order starting on Wednesday, and select countries will start selling them on August 26, 2022. These Samsung earbuds are available in three colors White, Graphite, and Bora Purple.
