VAIO is a known laptop brand in India. A few years ago, VAIO was very popular in the Indian market but then gradually it disappeared from the country. VAIO laptops were sold in India until 2014 by Sony and then after a long hiatus, VAIO made a comeback in India in January this year. Now, VAIO is backed by a computer technology firm called Nexstgo which also makes a couple of laptops under its Avita brand. Recently, VAIO has launched two new laptops in India. VAIO SE14 and SX14 – Price in India and Availability
VAIO has launched two new laptops in India, namely the VAIO SE14 and the VAIO SX14. The price of the new VAIO SE14 starts at Rs 88,990 while the SX14, which is a more premium version, has been priced from Rs 1,72,990. Nexstgo has neither revealed the exact number of variants in which these laptops will be sold nor variant-wise pricing. However, we expect these laptops to be available with multiple RAM and storage options and in multiple colours too. The company says that tese laptops will be soon listed on Amazon India’s website.
VAIO SE14 and SX14 – Key Specifications
The new VAIO SE14 will come powered with an 11th generation Intel processor, however, the exact processor has not been revealed. But, most likely it will be the 11th generation Intel i5 processor as it is an expensive notebook. The recently launched VAIO SE14 has a simple design and it is built around a metal chassis with plastic outers. The company claims that the new SE14 will offer you 12-hour battery life, it gets Thunderbolt 4 ports, an integrated Iris Xe graphics card and also a high-resolution 1080p IR-enabled web camera.

Now, if we talk about the more expensive SX14, so this notebook will be powered by an 11th generation Intel i7 processor. The new VAIO SX14 might turn out to be a great notebook for professionals who have to travel a lot as it comes with a carbon LCD cover design, which makes it very lightweight and durable. It features a 14-inch 4K Ultra HD display, up to 1TB of SSD internal storage, Dolby Audio certified speakers and more. The new VAIO SX14 also gets multiple ports and it is also claimed to have an excellent battery life, however, the exact battery life has not been revealed yet.
