Vivo T1x India Listed At BIS; Launch Likely In July

A new Vivo T series phone is heading to the Indian shores. This time the Chinese tech giant is gearing up to launch the Vivo T1x as its latest mid-range phone in the country.  Vivo had introduced the T1x in China and Malaysia with 5G and 4G connectivity respectively. Now, one of the variants has cleared its certification and is coming to India likely in July.

Vivo T1x India Launch Soon: Will It Be The 5G or 4G Model?

The Vivo T1x has cleared its certification via BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). The device has been listed with the V2143 model number on the certification website. Since the handset has gone official already, we know this model number is of the Vivo T1x 4G variant. The BIS listing has only mentioned the model number. None of the features are confirmed by the website listing, nor are the exact availability details announced.

But there are possibilities, the Vivo T1x 4G model will be introduced next month (July 2022) in the country. We are not updated with the upcoming T1x’s pricing details in the country. However, we are anticipating a sub Rs. 15,000 price range for the Vivo T1x in India.

What About Vivo T1x Specifications?

Since the Vivo T1x 4G has been unveiled in the Malaysian markets, we are expecting the device to be announced with the same set of specifications. The standard Vivo T1x is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, while the T1x 5G is driven by the Dimensity 900 SoC octa-core chipset. Both variants come with up to 8GB RAM configuration and 128GB storage. It will be pre-installed with Android 12 OS and a custom Funtouch OS interface on the top.

The Vivo T1x will be available with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen. The panel on the upcoming T series phone will have 1080p FHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. A dual rear camera setup will handle the optics. The camera setup will feature a 64MP main sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and a 2MP macro lens. The device will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. There will be a 5,000 mAh battery unit with 18W fast charging technology.
