The company has been indeed working on the budget handset’s arrival in the country and as tipped has added it to the shelves without any prior announcements. The latest ‘Y’ series phone has debuted as yet another entry-level offering packed with features like Helio P35 SoC and a dual rear camera module.

The Vivo Y15s is the latest budget model by the Chinese brand that supports standard 4G connectivity and is powered by the octa-core Helio P35 processor. The entry-level MediaTek chipset is built on 12nm architecture and combines IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 3GB RAM for high-end graphics and a smoother multitasking experience.
The Vivo Y15s will come with Android 11 OS out-of-the-box which will be topped with a custom FunTouch OS. The Vivo Y15s flaunts a standard IPS LCD display which is 6.5-inches in size. The panel offers 720p HD+ screen resolution along with a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a standard waterdrop notch which is a storehouse for an 8MP selfie snapper that has an f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y15s’ primary rear camera setup at the back includes dual sensors. There is a 13MP main camera which is paired up with a 2MP sensor for close-up macro shots. The connectivity aspects include standard 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Vivo has announced its latest Y series phone (Y15s) in a single RAM and storage option. The Vivo Y15s has been launched with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option which will be retailing at Rs. 10,990 in India. It has already gone up for sale in the country via both online and offline retail stores in the country. As for the color options, you can select from Mystic Blue and Wave Green shades both of which are sold at the aforementioned price.
