Vivo Y21T India Launch Tipped For January 3; To Ship With Snapdragon 680 SoC, 50MP Triple Camera

Vivo has started working on its next premium mid-range smartphone series for the Indian market called the V23. But the rumor mill is hinting at another model in the pipeline which will be coming in the affordable ‘Y’ series. The Vivo Y21T is the suggested model which is said to break covers ahead of the V23 series in India. The specifications as well as the expected launch have been tipped by 91Mobiles in association with tipster Ishan Aggarwal.

The Vivo Y21T is scheduled for January 3 launch in India cites the report via 91Mobiles. While the publication has tipped the launch for next week, the company has not given any official nod to this suggested date. We still are waiting for Vivo to announce the Vivo Y21T’s India launch and expect some teasers soon.

The report shared by the publication also reveals the specifications of the handset. And it is clear that the upcoming device would be another budget-oriented handset by the Chinese tech giant. The leaked spec-sheet is mentioned below, take a look:

The Vivo Y21T is rumored to sport a traditional waterdrop notch display where the panel is said to be an IPS LCD. The display size and screen refresh rate are not revealed. It would be hard to guess if the device will offer the standard 720p HD+ or 1080p FHD+ screen resolution.

The report hints at the presence of the mid-range Snapdragon 680 processor. The octa-core Qualcomm processor is said to be clubbed with 4GB RAM. The storage capacity is tipped to be 128GB which can be additionally expanded using an external microSD card slot.

The device will offer a triple-rear camera setup with the primary sensor being a 50MP lens. The remaining sensor details are at large currently. The selfie snapper is also not revealed. The report suggests a massive 5,000 mAh battery will drive the Vivo Y21T.

The handset will come with 18W fast charging support for quick refuels. That’s pretty much all the information related to the Vivo Y21t available at the moment. But with the approaching launch date, more details would emerge soon.
