Vivo has once again expanded its budget 5G smartphone lineup with the launch of a new “Y” series model. The company has unveiled the Y54s as its latest bet in the affordable 5G segment. The Vivo Y54s uses the octa-core Dimensity 700 processor from MediaTek which has 5G network support. The company has clubbed this processor with 6GB RAM and 128Gb storage configuration. The device also has a 2GB virtual RAM option. We have seen Vivo and other Chinese brands adding this new feature to several new arrivals allowing for an increased RAM capacity.
The Vivo Y54s display measures 6.51-inches. It is an LCD panel that has 1080p FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display further offers an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo Y54s has been currently launched in China with a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The pricing of this variant is set at CNY 1,699 which is somewhere around Rs. 19,500 in Indian currency.
