“Due to massive demand-supply mismatch, the majority of components used in smartphones have seen an upward movement in their prices. Unfortunately, due to such market dynamics, a surge in price is inevitable and it is further leading to a price hike on some of our models,” Xiaomi spokesperson was quoted by India Today.

Should You Buy Redmi 9 And Redmi 9A Sport Smartphone

It is worth noting that all smartphone players have increased due to chipset shortages and supply constraints. Similarly, Xiaomi has raised prices of its prices and now Redmi joined the wagon. However, we still believe both smartphones are a good option for users who are looking for devices under Rs. 10,000. In fact, these smartphones seem good for first-time buyers and feature phones users that are looking for devices at a pocket-friendly price.
