By teaming up with Titan or Murugappa Group, Apple hopes to find suppliers for important parts of its smartphone cameras. The deal might be finished within five to six months, sources told the news outlet.

Murugappa Group’s Advantage

The Murugappa Group, especially with its recent purchase of Moshine Electronics, has a leg up. A source mentioned in the report suggests that in the future, Murugappa Group might even be able to make the image sensors for Apple.

Choosing Between Titan and Murugappa Group

Titan, a company under the Tata Group, specializes in making precise parts for watches and jewelry. However, compared to the Murugappa Group, which works in many sectors including auto parts and abrasives, Titan might come in second.
