OPPO Enco Air3 Pro Design: Build Quality, Wearing Comfort

The OPPO Enco Air3 Pro ships with a pebble-shaped charging case and in-ear earbuds design. At first, the Enco Air3 Pro looks familiar to its successor, i.e., the Enco Air2 Pro. However, OPPO has surely improved the overall design language with the new-gen model. The glossy finish along with the smoothly curbed edges giving a feel of a glass layer on the case’s top makes it all premium.

OPPO hasn’t solely focused on the looks of the Enco Air3 Pro but also has kept the durability factor in mind. The case as well as the earbuds feels sturdy and can easily resist a few accidental drops. The compact design along with a lightweight form factor makes it easy to carry around in the pockets. While the case is all durable, the glossy finish is prone to scratches.

Therefore, it would be wise to keep coins, keys, and other sharp objects away from it while carrying it outdoors. Speaking of wearing comfort, the in-ear design of the earbuds fits well in your ears. You can also pick the suitable eartip size for added comfort. The wearing experience isn’t hampered even if you plug in the pair for long durations. Also, the earbuds are IP5 certified which safeguards them from dust, sweat, and water splashes.

Mivi Duopods K1 Review: Audio, Calling Performance

The Duopods K1 gets 10.5mm Dynamic drivers for audio delivery. Now, the driver size is slightly lower compared to the Duopods K7 that we reviewed recently but offers a decent punch for daily music-listening sessions. The bass levels are decent. You don’t get super punchy bass but has enough oomph to get you grooving on the go.

The overall loudness levels are also good and you don’t struggle to listen to the audio in a noisy background. The audio performance has been fairly good with all genres of music. But you can’t expect the same level of refinements as the high-end pairs that cost over Rs. 5,000.

The Duopds K1 supports AI ENC Noise Cancelling feature which allows for a clear calling and listening experience. This feature essentially reduces noises and distortion to clean the audio signature. The added support for Bluetooth codec profiles including AAC and SBC Audio codecs.

It is a simple and fast process that is standard for most earbuds. You just have to take out the earbuds from the charging case and look for its name in the Bluetooth settings of the device with which it is being paired. As for the control functions, check the table below:

Moving on to the battery, the Duopods K1’s charging case pack a 380 mAh battery, while the earbuds have a 35 mAh battery each. The earbuds during our testing lasted well over three to four hours. With the case combined the backup is almost two days. However, you might need a replug towards the end of the second day.

Mivi Duopods K1 Final Verdict: Worth A Buy?

The Mivi Duopods K1 is a decent option for consumers who need basic yet functional earbuds for daily use. It offers a good sound stage with decent bass and loudness levels. Wings Phantom 345 TWS Gaming Earbuds Review: Trendy And Affordable

Pros

  • Good design
  • Good battery life
  • Faster connectivity

Cons

  • Poor call quality

Wings recently released the Phantom 345 TWS earbuds in India, following the launch of their Phantom 380 model a few months back. These earbuds are offered in Black and White colors and are sold for Rs. 1,499 on both the Wings website and Flipkart. We’ve been using the Wings Phantom 345 TWS gaming earbuds for several weeks and here’s what we think about it.

What’s Inside The Box?

  • Wings Phantom 380 earbuds with charging case
  • Type-C charging cable
  • Extra ear tips
  • User manual
  • Stickers

Design

The newly released earbuds have a transparent case design similar to the affordable Nothing Ear (1) or Ear (2), which is the product’s unique selling point. The design gives a view of the internal components, which is a popular feature of Nothing products. However, the Phantom 345 earbuds do not share the same design philosophy.

The charging case is compact and has carbon fiber grooves and a digital display to show the battery level, with the “WINGS” branding on the back and a “W” on the front. The USB Type-C charging port is located at the bottom. It comes in two colors: black and white, with the black variant provided for our review. It is quite lightweight as they weigh just 35 grams.

The charging case is made of clear plastic and has two color-coded slots that magnetically secure the earbuds for charging, allowing for easy alignment. The earbuds have an in-ear design that offers a comfortable fit. Despite the similarities with other earbuds on the market, the design of the Wings Phantom 345 is still refreshing. They are also comfortable to wear for extended periods, and the three sizes of ear tips included in the box ensure a secure fit even when working out on a treadmill.

Features

The Wings Phantom 345 earbuds feature 13mm high-fidelity drivers and environmental noise cancellation technology, as well as 30db active noise cancellation and support for voice assistants such as Google and Siri. While the audio quality is decent, with good bass, it should be noted that at this price point, expectations should not be too high. However, with increasing competition in the market, better sound quality can be expected.

One of the standout features of the Wings Phantom 345 is the dedicated Gaming mode, designed with gaming enthusiasts in mind. A long press on the right earbud launches gaming mode in under 2 seconds. They come with low latency of 40ms. This means that there is no delay during gaming and the sound experience of gaming is good.

The earbuds also come with four microphones with ENC support. They are decent in most cases in picking up your voice clearly for calls. However, sometimes the call will be disconnected or sometimes it will automatically switch to gaming mode even with a slight touch. Besides, it might struggle in a crowded and noisy environment, which is common in most Bluetooth headsets in the price range.

The Wings Phantom 345 earbuds also feature support for AAC and SBC audio codecs and have an IPX5 rating for sweat and water resistance, making them perfect for workouts or outdoor activities.

Pairing And Connectivity

To pair the Wings Phantom 345 earbuds with your phone, simply take them out of the charging case. These earbuds can be used independently, so you can use just one earbud if you prefer. You can connect it to Android and iOS devices with Bluetooth support that has a range of 15m. During my usage, I did not encounter any connectivity issues.

Controlling the earbuds is a breeze, thanks to their touch sensors, which allow you to manage functions like play/pause, volume, and calls with ease. The SpeedSync feature ensures a quick and stable connection between the earbuds and your device. The different controls are listed below:

Battery

The company claims that the Wings Phantom 345 earbuds provide a total playback time of 50 hours, with 10 hours of playtime for the earbuds themselves, 40 hours of talk time, and 300 hours of standby time. These earbuds can be fully charged in 1.5 hours, while the earbuds’ charging time is one hour. Additionally, they come equipped with USB-C Bullet Charge technology, which the company states can provide up to 100 minutes of playback time with just 10 minutes of charging. Overall, the Wings Phantom 345 earbuds do seem to offer a commendable battery life as per the company’s claims.

Final Verdict

While we wouldn’t necessarily consider it the best option for those on a budget under 2000, the Wings Phantom 345 earbuds are certainly a solid choice given their price point. These earbuds offer a range of features that are typically not found in this price range. However, while their performance is satisfactory, it is not exceptional.

Overall, the Wings Phantom 345 earbuds are a great option for those seeking decent sound quality, good battery life, and gaming-specific features in a compact and user-friendly design.

However, there are fewer budget phones available in the under Rs. 7,000 price range, and most devices in this segment lack important features. Infinix recently launched the Smart 7 HD, which claims to offer good specs at an affordable price. I’ve been using the Infinix Smart 7 HD for a week, and in this full review, I’ve many things to say about the device. But before we delve deeper, let’s see its price and specs. Infinix Smart 7 HD: Design & Display

Infinix has improved the design of the Smart 7 HD, and you can feel the change when seeing or holding the phone. The phone is a bit heavy at 196 grams, but its 3D textured wave patterns on the back provide a good grip. The back panel is plastic and extends to the sides without any framing. The flat sides of the phone give it a premium feel, replacing the previous year’s tacky and curvy build. The smartphone is available in three colors: Jade White, Ink Black, and Silk Blue. We have got the Jade White variant for review.

The rear of the phone has a square-shaped camera island holding two larger camera modules, a dual-LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner. On the front, it features a water-drop notch panel, which is expected for the price. The power button and volume rocker are on the right side, and a triple-slot SIM card tray is on the left. At the top, there is nothing present, but the bottom of it features a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Coming to the display, the phone has a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display along with a 60Hz refresh rate panel. The screen is bright but less vibrant. It can play videos at 60fps without lag, thanks to the latest firmware update.

Infinix Smart 7 HD: Performance & Software

While the Infinix Smart 7 HD is not a performance-centric device for the price point, it still performs well for light usage. Jumping from one app to another is fast thanks to the tweaked speed of the animations on the phone. It can handle games like Asphalt 9, Subway Surfers, and Clash of Clans, but don’t expect a smooth experience with heavy titles like New State mobile. The Unisoc SC9863A1 octa-core chipset, just can’t handle it.

Despite this limitation, the device comes with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which is rare at this price point. Additionally, there’s 2GB virtual RAM and a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage of up to 1TB.

Android 12 powers the device, which includes some bloatware such as Palm Store, Hi Browser, and other proprietary applications. However, you can deactivate these apps to avoid receiving spam. While the brand doesn’t guarantee any updates, we anticipate that Infinix will upgrade the device to Android 13 in the upcoming months.

At this price range, Infinix has provided both a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for facial unlock, which is praiseworthy. However, the fingerprint scanner has a success rate of only 70 percent, and the facial unlock is prone to automatic disabling, requiring the user to enter their password manually due to security restrictions.

Further, the phone has only one speaker situated at the bottom, which produces a loud sound, but it may get muffled when playing games in landscape mode. The 3.5mm headphone jack is a useful addition since many users would prefer wired earphones in this price range.

Overall, the Infinix Smart 7 HD is a capable budget phone for light usage. It may not be the best choice for heavy gaming or performance-intensive tasks, but for everyday use, it’s a solid option.

Infinix Smart 7 HD: Camera

The camera performance of the Infinix Smart 7 HD is average and may vary depending on your current smartphone. It has a dual camera setup on the back with an 8MP main lens and a dual-LED flash for low-light shots.

As it is with all Infinix phones, the default camera mode is the AI Cam, which captures decent images with steady hands and ample light. However, sharp lighting can sometimes spoil the images. Infinix has limited the camera features on the Smart 7 HD to only three modes besides the default AI Cam mode: Beauty, Portrait, and Panorama.

The 5MP selfie camera captures soft images, and using the beauty mode softens your skin tone further. The selfie flash on the phone makes selfies acceptable, and Infinix deserves credit for providing a front flash. The maximum video support is 1080p 30fps, and the video quality is average, which is expected for the price.

Infinix Smart 7 HD: Battery

The Infinix Smart 7 HD’s battery is one of its key strengths. It has a large 5,000mAh battery that lasts a long time. Even after hours of heavy usage, the battery percentage was still above 50 percent, which is great. This phone is easily a two-day phone on heavy usage and even longer if you’re just using it for WhatsApp and calling. This is perfect for older people who don’t want to constantly charge their phones.

However, charging the Smart 7 HD to the brim wasn’t quick. Although it has a USB Type-C port, the charging brick inside the box takes nearly two hours to fully charge.

Overall, the Smart 7 HD’s battery life is insane and definitely a major advantage. So, if you’re looking for a phone with long battery life, the Smart 7 HD might just be the one for you.

Final Verdict

Compared to other phones in its price range, the Infinix Smart 7 HD packs a punch with its impressive features. It sets a higher bar for smartphones under Rs. 7,000 by providing a good design that is not flashy, a large battery that can last for two days, and a range of software features. For casual phone users, it is a decent device. Additionally, due to its expandable storage and long battery life, it could serve as a great backup phone.

Mivi Duopods K7 True Wireless Earphones Review: Balanced Sound On A Budget

Pros

  • Neat performance for its price
  • Google Assistant and Siri support
  • Decent battery life

Cons

  • No dual pairing
  • Only IPX4

Apple’s Airpods are widely favored as truly wireless earbuds, but other brands, particularly local ones, have begun to compete with Apple in recent years. The audio market in the country is booming, with a new pair of truly wireless earbuds being introduced almost every week. Despite this, Mivi, an Indian brand, has managed to establish itself in the market.

We have received a pair of TWS buds from Mivi for review – the Mivi Duopods K7. These earphones have a retail price of Rs. 1,499 and offer decent features such as dual microphones, fast charging, and 13mm dynamic drivers on each side. In this review, we will delve into whether the Mivi Duopods K7 is a worthy contender for your next TWS earphone purchase, considering the growing number of options in the audio market. Let’s find out. Also Read | OPPO Enco Buds2 Budget TWS Earbuds Review: Is It The Perfect Buy?

What’s Inside The Box?

  • Mivi DuoPods K7 earbuds
  • Charging case
  • Charging cable
  • Silicone gel tips
  • User manual
  • Warranty card

Design

The Mivi Duopods K7 charging case boasts a “Starry Night Effect” and has a sleek metallic finish with contoured corners.  It comes in a traditional pebble design. These earbuds come in five different colors: Coral, Galaxy Black, Ivory, Jazzy Blue, and Mint Green. I received the Galaxy Black variant which features the Mivi branding in the center of the case. Despite being lightweight and small, the case feels sturdy and well-constructed. It has a USB-C charging port located at the back and four LEDs on the bottom indicating the case’s charge level. While the case design is decent, I personally didn’t like the glittery effect.

The earbuds are secured by magnetic pins inside the case, and even when held upside down, they remain firmly in place. Mivi Duopods K7 has an in-ear design and comes with two extra ear tips of different sizes. For me, the medium-sized ear tip fit comfortably, and I could wear them for hours without feeling any discomfort. The earbuds have blue and red LED lights, while the case light only glows blue. Furthermore, with an IPX4 rating, the Mivi Duopods K7 are sweatproof and can be used while running or working out in the gym without any worries.

Audio Quality And Call Performance

The Mivi Duopods K7 delivers impressive sound quality, with powerful deep bass audio produced by its 13mm dynamic driver. The mids are good, while the highs and lows are satisfactory, although the Mivi DuoPods K7 may miss some low and high frequencies. At its price point, noise cancellation is also decent, allowing for an immersive music experience.

The device’s voice call quality is decent, with microphones that are capable of picking up your voice even in a slightly crowded place. During my usage, there was no voice lag, and the person on the other end did not report any issues with voice quality. However, outside noise, especially wind when walking or biking, can be picked up by microphones despite the device’s artificial intelligence in HDCall technology. The Mivi DuoPods also support call waiting and enable you to answer third-party calls directly from the earbuds while on another call. Moreover, the Mivi DuoPods supports both Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri voice assistant, and a gaming mode is also available.

Pairing And Touch Controls

The Mivi Duopods K7 can be easily paired with your phone through a simple process, which automatically initiates pairing mode upon opening the lid. All you have to do is go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, look for the Mivi Duopods K7, and pair them. Once paired, you will hear a sound confirming the connection. The earbuds use the latest Bluetooth 5.3 technology and can transmit up to 10 meters as per the company’s claims. We found the connection range to be consistent and never experienced any drop in connectivity. However, it is worth noting that the earbuds can only be connected to one device at a time.

The earbuds have a touch-sensitive area on the top that allows for various functions, such as adjusting volume and skipping songs. While this feature is convenient, I personally found the implementation of the touchpad on the earbuds to be a bit problematic. There is a high chance of accidentally hitting the touchpad while putting the earbuds in or taking them out of your ear. Despite this, adjusting the volume without having to reach for your phone was a useful feature. The different controls are listed below:

Battery

According to Mivi, the earbuds, along with the charging case, provide roughly 50 hours of music playback time. The charging case requires around 60 minutes to charge, while the earbuds need about 45 minutes for a full charge, and they charge automatically when placed inside the case.

The battery life is impressive, with up to 30-32 hours of music playback even at over 80 percent volume. By keeping the volume a bit lower, you can further prolong the battery life by an additional three to five hours.

Final Thoughts

To conclude the Mivi Duopods K7 review, these earphones offer many features at an affordable price point. They are lightweight and come equipped with significant 13mm drivers. The sound quality is impressive, with a mostly balanced soundstage and a touch of bass. Additionally, the earbuds are comfortable to wear for extended periods. Most notably, they have a great battery life that easily lasted me days.

Vivo has officially announced its latest camera flagship for the Indian market called the X90 Pro. The high-end X series Vivo phone comes with an upgraded design, improved Zeiss co-engineered  cameras, and a premium MediaTek Dimensity series chipset accompanied by a custom V2 chip.

This time, Vivo has priced the new X series phones starting at Rs. 59,999. However, The Vivo X90 Pro comes in a single RAM and storage option (12GB+ 256GB) costing Rs. 84,999 in India. Vivo has been betting high in the camera race with its X series phones. Has the new variant done justice in carrying forward the legacy?

Well, at Giznext, we have received the Vivo X90 Pro for review and got a chance to experience the unit firsthand. In this article, we are doing the first impressions of the Vivo X90 Pro and will be sharing our feedback whether it’s a hit or miss this time.

Vivo X90 Pro Design Language: Same Old Or New?

The Vivo X90 Pro wears the same premium leatherette finish at the back which we saw with the previous-gen Vivo X80 Pro. This combined with the curved display edges neatly merged with the metallic frame not just improves the appeal but also the grip. Speaking of the ports and key placement, they are also tactile for daily usage.

Both volume and power keys are positioned on the left spine, while the right frame is kept barren. The USB charging port gets the usual placement at the bottom alongside the hybrid SIM card tray and the speaker grille. The non-slippery and smudge-resistant design definitely clicks for the users who love flaunting their handsets without any case or cover wrapping on top.

Besides, the large circular camera module protruding prominently on the back gives this phone a real-life camera-like appearance which surely will grab some attention at first look. But if you still wish to use a case for additional protection you can use the soft TPU case that ships with the retail box. That said, the overall form factor of the Vivo X90 Pro is premium and despite being large it can be easily used as a daily driver.

Vivo X90 Pro Display First Impressions: Got The Colors Accurate?

The Vivo X90 Pro has been packed with a massive 6.78-inch screen. As mentioned above, the panel has a symmetrical curve which is one of the biggest USPs of the X90 Pro’s design. The AMOLED screen supports a 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution. Now, this upgraded screen resolution allows the unit to deliver crisp and clear content.

Additionally, the panel also has a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits which allows for a smoother touch response and frame transition along with clear visibility outdoors under direct sunlight. Vivo hasn’t upgraded the refresh rate with the new-gen X90 series phone which we have been anticipating before its official launch. But the overall experience isn’t hampered and is rather smooth as expected.

The X90 Pro’s screen also has HDR10+ certification which further gives an immersive viewing experience with content streaming online. During our brief testing, the Vivo X90 Pro’s screen performed well with both video playback and gaming. The clarity levels are high and the frame transitions are lag-free with extensive graphics.

Also, the color production is good with the X90 Pro’s screen. We are yet to do a thorough screen testing of the latest X90 series high-end model and will share the user experience in the comprehensive review.

Vivo X90 Pro 5G Cameras First Impressions

The Vivo X90 Pro 5G’s style statement isn’t solely the curved display and the leatherette back, but also the big circular camera array that jets out of the back frame. Vivo has collaborated with Zeiss this time too to design the high-end camera hardware of the X90 Pro 5G. The triple-lens stacked inside the circular array at the back on the X90 Pro comprises a 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera with a large 1-inch pixel sensor, an f/1.8 aperture, Dual Pixel PDAF, and OIS.

Aiding the primary lens is another large 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait lens which supports 2X optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with a telephoto lens. Up front, a big 32MP camera is neatly accommodated inside the punch-hole cutout. To recap, the previous-gen model, i.e., the Vivo X80 Pro featured a quad-lens camera module.

While Vivo has chucked an additional sensor from the new-gen model, it still is betting high on the imaging quality offered by the new unit. The latest variant has several integrated camera modes designed to improve the image as well as video quality. Vivo also has done optimizations with the camera hardware on the latest X90 Pro 5G model to make up for the missing additional sensor. The custom V2 imaging sensor’s presence further boosts the camera performance.

We tested the camera performance briefly and the X90 Pro seems to live up to the expectations as its predecessors. The output comes refined even with the default settings when you have ample lighting in the background. No evident blurs or grains are visible. High-resolution, Zeiss Landscape$ archit., AI Group portrait, Dual View, and Ultra HD document are some of the advanced cameras features that are offered by the X90 Pro.

This time Vivo has also added dedicated night and Astrophotography modes including Astro and Supermoon modes. Our experience with night photography has also been satisfactory during the initial testing phase. But we will put the X90 Pro’s cameras through extreme testing during both day and night and will share detailed feedback in the comprehensive review.

The selfie lens also delivers optimum performance. The clicks are good for social media uploads. Also, if you are frequent with online video conferencing then the large 32MP sensor will help you with clear audio/video experience with video calling.

Vivo X90 Pro First Impressions: Performance Delivery, Battery Backup

Performance delivery on the latest Vivo X90 Pro model is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core mobile chipset. Vivo might have switched to a MediaTek Dimensity series processor instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship processor like the previous-gen model but the compromises with the performance is deliver is least. Atleast, that’s what we experienced with the initial usage.

Our review unit packs 12GB RAM which combined with the virtual RAM feature sources an additional 8GB RAM for flawless multitasking and overall usage. The storage capacity available with our review unit is 256GB. Since there is a hybrid SIM slot, you can either use two SIM cards or one SIM card and one microSD card simultaneously.

Therefore, it would be better to select the high-storage variant if you use your phone for data storage. The gameplay experience has been fair all this while. We were able to play a bunch of graphic-hungry games at the highest settings with almost no visible lags or frame drops. No evident heating issue is to be highlighted as of now.

Moving on to the battery capacity and fast charging speeds, the X90 Pro is integrated with a 4,870 mAh battery unit. The latest flagship Vivo handset gets 120W fast wired and 50W wireless charging support. This is the fastest charging speed that is offered by the Vivo X series handset. The charging time is below 30 minutes which is handy for quick refuels. We still have to test the device to its full potential to give a final verdict on its reliability with extreme apps and tasks.

Vivo X90 Pro 5G Final Verdict: Worthy Upgrade?

The Vivo X90 Pro 5G is launched as one of the most advanced camera phones in India. The spec sheet is overall a complete package and the handset definitely gets some extra pointers in the looks department. The Vivo X90 Pro in our opinion packs ample punch to be a power performer with normal as well as extensive usage. And if you are a photography enthusiast, then you are in for a treat with the Zeiss co-engineered premium camera hardware.

Infinix Hot 30i Review: Budget Smartphone In Segment

Pros

  • Appealing appearance
  • High refresh rate
  • Huge battery

Cons

  • Average Camera
  • Android 12 OS

Recently, Infinix has launched a lot of products. A few laptops and nearly four smartphones were introduced by the Chinese tech giant. It debuted the Infinix Hot 30i, the first and least expensive phone in the new Hot 30 series. A 90Hz display, 8GB of built-in RAM, and a sleek, premium-looking design are just a few of the smartphone’s standout qualities that will surely draw users’ attention. I used it for a few days before writing this evaluation of the Infinix Hot 30i. Let’s quickly dive into the review.

Infinix Hot 30i: Design And Display

ModelInfinix Hot 30i
Display6.6-inch HD+
Camera50MP(rear)
5MP(front)
Chipset MediaTek Helio G37
Battery5000mAh
RAM8GB+8GB

On the design front, Infinix has chosen a chic strategy. There is a premium-looking design on the rear, whether you choose the Glacier Blue or Mirror Black color. It is eye-catching, reflective, and shiny. It reminds me of the Realme 2’s glossy back. Despite the fact that it has a polycarbonate back, it doesn’t appear cheap. However, the narrative changes as you approach the front. With pronounced bezels, particularly at the bottom, it features a water-drop notch panel. Contrary to the back, the front does indicate that it’s a basic phone.

On the right spine are the power and volume rockers, and on the left spine are the SIM/microSD card slots. The power key serves as a fingerprint scanner, while the tray on the left is a full triple slot that can hold two Nano SIM cards and a dedicated microSD card rather than a hybrid slot. The gadget has a USB Type-C port, a microphone, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker at the bottom. Nothing is present on the top.

The smartphone has a sizable 6.6-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, which makes scrolling more fluid overall. Although it is fairly bright inside, I had some trouble browsing in the sunlight. The fact that the phone’s display is a little less vivid worries me. Now, this isn’t just relevant to the Hot 30i; some other Infinix phones I’ve examined also had quite drab displays. I prefer slightly colorful panels, which Motorola provides in the majority of their phones. However, not everyone may experience the same. Overall, the phone has a luxurious appearance on the rear but a dated front with dull colors.

Infinix Hot 30i: Camera

The camera front offers not much to look at. The gadget features a single front camera and two cameras on the back. It takes typical pictures and videos. A 50MP primary lens and an additional sensor are present. Only when you take control of the exposure settings can the main lens in the AI Cam mode, which is the default camera mode, help to analyze the shots more effectively. In other words, you would need to change the exposure so that the finished image looked decent.

Additionally, when there are several objects in the picture, the camera occasionally has trouble focusing. However, as was already mentioned, the photograph can end up being likable for the price if you get the focus and lighting just right. It includes three different modes: portrait, beauty, and AR shot, which are essentially Memoji or AR filters akin to those on Snapchat and Instagram. The average 5MP selfie camera.

As you may anticipate from a basic product, video recording is only possible in 1080p at 30 frames per second without stabilization. Again, the finished video is acceptable while you are still, but if you are walking while recording, it becomes too unsteady. Despite not being a camera phone, the Hot 30i does a good job of producing quality video and photos.

Infinix Hot 30i: Chipset And Battery

The Infinix Hot 30i is less of a performance-focused phone and more of an entry-level all-arounder. The MediaTek Helio G37 chip that it ships with isn’t designed for gaming or intensive tasks, but when combined with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, it keeps the smartphone operating. Furthermore, the phone supports 8GB of virtual RAM, bringing the total RAM up to 16 GB.

You can play games like Subway Surfers, COC, and Asphalt on low settings thanks to its ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. Jumping from one program to another was a smooth experience for me in daily use, however, there are a few slight lags. For instance, the scrolling seems a little jittery in the Youtube app. Overall, it’s a fine smartphone for doing simple things like calls, using WhatsApp, browsing the web, and watching videos.

Infinix has included a 5,000mAh battery that easily provides a day’s worth of battery life. It takes more than 2 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge the battery from empty, which is too long.

Infinix Hot 30i: Verdict

With the Infinix Hot 30i, you receive a stylish back design, a screen with a high refresh rate, more RAM, an all-day battery life, and more software capabilities. It is important to note that the device does not come with twin speakers, a contemporary front design, or a clear user interface. Additionally, it runs earlier Android 12 OS straight out of the box. If you want a stylish, feature-packed phone and are okay with the aforementioned restrictions, the Infinix Hot 30i is a smart investment for Rs 8,399 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 9,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
