Realme 10 Pro Series Finally Debuts With Dimensity 1080 SoC, 120Hz Display In India: Upgrades That Make It Must Buy

Realme has introduced two new smartphones from its Realme 10 series in India. The Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ have been unveiled by the company. The plus variant is the first smartphone in its price category to offer a curved AMOLED display. Although the Realme 10 Pro has a different set of features, both phones’ rear panels have mostly comparable designs. The front sides and the display, however, are completely different. The first sale will have on 14 December.

Realme 10 Pro+ Specifications

The 6.7-inch 120Hz curved AMOLED display on the new Realme 10 Pro+ is the device’s standout feature. This is the first device under Rs. 25,000 to include a curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz or higher.

The MediaTek Dimensity 1080, which is a 6nm chipset, powers the Realme 10 Pro+. This is the first phone in India to get this processor. The smartphone gets Mali-G68.

A triple-lens system is present on the Realme 10 Pro+. A 108MP lens that can shoot in raw mode makes up the main camera module. The third module is a macro lens, while the second is an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. There is a 16MP front camera on the phone.

The Realme 10 Pro+ has launched in three storage variants, with the company offering a virtual RAM feature that expands the hardware-limited RAM. The phone gets up to 8GB of RAM and expands with an additional 8GB of RAM. Buyers can choose between 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The Realme 10 Pro+ prices in India start at Rs. 24,999 for 6GB/128GB models. Additionally, the Realme 10 Pro+ is also available in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations to set you back Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 27,999. The Realme 10 Pro Plus comes in Dark Matter, Nebula Blue, and Hyperspace Gold color options.

Alongside the plus variant, the Realme 10 Pro has also been launched. Although the device has a flat LCD screen, it still features a 120hz high refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset powers the phone.

The Realme 10 Pro comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone further runs Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 on top. While the 10 Pro features a similar battery capacity, the charging speed is reduced to 33W.

The Realme 10 Pro pricing in India starts at Rs. 18,999 for the base 6GB/128GB model and will set you back Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB/128GB configuration. The Realme 10 Pro comes in Dark Matter, Nebula Blue, and Hyperspace Gold colors.
